UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT BELIEVE THE 5 STARS. THEY ARE MADE UP REVIEWS. My Windows 8 laptop started going into sleep mode on its own. I had a few weeks left of a class and needed my work for the rest of the semester. In panic mode, I took my laptop to NCM. Needless to say, I experienced poor communication about the service and not very thorough explanation about the process. His only solution was to completely wipe the computer clean like it was new again. No other options were exhausted first. His attitude was very smug when I tried to tell him I did not want to go forward with the service he wanted to provide; but he already had my computer. I got my computer back and I discovered he took it upon himself without my knowledge to install software so that Windows 8 operated completely different. The entire OS does not function as it did. I questioned him on this and he said it is a courtesy he does for customers with a Windows 8 because so many people yell at him because they cannot figure out how to operate 8. Literally what he said to me. That is not my problem... This is unacceptable and was not discussed with me. When I asked him what he installed on my computer he was very unprofessional and tried getting off the phone with me. That is not customer service. I feel taken advantage of. He is belittling and needs to work on his people skills. The finished product is NOT what we discussed. I do not recommend this place. Also, Rob and one of the other workers spoke poorly about another computer repair company right down the road from them. It was tactless.

My kids were playing on my laptop and it started acting funny. I kept getting a pop up telling me that my computer had detected a virus and I needed to pay $219 for it to be repaired. I was ready to pay it, I even had my credit card in hand. But my boyfriend stopped me. Told me not to pay, it was a scam. I took it to the computer place right around the corner from me. The guy told me it was $180 to fix without even looking at it. I didnt even take it out of the bag. I got nervous and left. So I took it to NCM Computers. When I walked in I was surprised if was so clean after where I came from. The girl at the front counter was really friendly. She explained to me that its called ransomware and it was indeed a scam. I thought it was very courteous that she took the time to explain to me what popups were and how to avoid them. When Rob the tech called me back he was very nice and professional. He explained exactly what I was told at the front counter, no surprises. He gave me a price and a list of exactly what he had to do to it. I was terrified that I would lose all of my family pictures. But Rob assured me that he could save it all. Thank God! The people at NCM Computers have great communication and customer service. I got my computer back and runs better than new. And yes, all my pictures are there. I feel NCM is the place to go for computer repair. Thank you!

Terribly unprofessional staff. Didnt listen to me and did what ever he wanted to my computer and made it worse. He even argued with me and mocked me when I approached him about the damages to my computer that he caused. He acted like I was stupid. Now I have to pay someone else to fix my computer. And when I looked into them there were no reviews at all, then all the sudden after they screwed me, good reviews popped up on here.

It looks like a competitor is trying to trash this company, cause every time we have them do anything for us it was a very professional and courteous experience. They take the time to explain things to people. CS

Very Professional is the best way to describe them . Have finally found a place that listens to me and not try to sell us more then we needed.
