I purchased a lawn mower part from the Ace Hardware in New Philadelphia. I Payed double the price of what the same item cost at an online retailer. I bought the item at Ace Hardware for the convenience of having the part immediately. I kept my bill of sale and the packaging. The part was defective and employees hinted that I was responsible for the defect. Employees cited store and vendor "policy" prohibiting them from replacing the part immediately. The employees said the manufacture would need to inspect the item before replacing it. My new "policy" is to not shop at Ace Hardware. Only purchase from stores with the best prices who warranty a six day old defective part immediately. Ace Customer Service; If your vendor locks you into bad "policy," find a new vendor who will help your business grow vs loose your customers. #acehardware #poorcustomerservice #warranty

Total joke. I dropped off two chainsaws that needed repaired. Their mechanics were not there, so I gave them my phone number and asked if they could give me an estimate. After two weeks I heard nothing. I eventually paid to have one repaired and as far as I can tell the only thing they did was sharpen the chain. As for the other saw, they told me it would be cheaper to buy a new saw. After buying new fuel lines and replacing them myself it runs great. Ill never take another saw there and I will never buy a new from them.

Sat there for 15 + minutes on 4/26/15. Want to buy a 180c sthil chain saw, extra chain, bar oil and gas mix. 3 employees sat up by the cointer amd was discussing how things could be better. Well if they would walk around and ask customers what they need would be something that could help. I purchase what i need else where

Rented a uhaul trailer from them and picked it up at 2:30pm and dropped it back off at 11pm. Just got charged for 5 days on my card because they didnt check it in.
