I wish there was an option to score "Management" and a "Terrible" choice because that is really the point of my review. My wife organized a sales event at the Wine Bistro. We visited this establishement a weeks in advance with some friends. We asked the server if we could speak to the manager when it was convenient. It turned out that she was there at the bar and could meet us. She was incredibly rude. She completely dismissed my wife to speak to a few other patrons and left us waiting for 45+ mins. The food was lousy. The service was horrible (to their credit, they actually appeared to be afraid of her and tried to make it work). We gave the place a chance and tried again many months later and it was even more awful than our first experience. I dont use "despise" often, but this place is so poorly managed that I would say I "despise" the management and would strongly recommend caution to anyone hosting a event at this location. It was so bad that I had to write a review. Consider yourselves warned....visit for a glass of wine and a light meal but NEVER attempt to organize an event here. I can promise a terrible experience.

Weve always enjoyed visiting the Wine Bistro on High Street and having a few glasses of wine with friends. The food is very tasty as well. Earlier this year I reserved the private room, next to the restaurant for a surprise birthday party. I was worried when I tried several times to contact the manager to determine the food menu. It was Tuesday prior to the Friday party when the manager called me to say the private room was double-booked. What??!!!! They did make available a small space in the back of the restaurant (the soft seating area), but besides saying "sorry", did nothing to impress me about making up for the scheduling mishap. Of course we enjoyed ourselves, but I was ultimately disappointed in how The Wine Bistro handled this situation. The manager felt as if it was no big deal to just move us, even though it meant not having a private area, being crowded, and in a space with wait staff constantly walking through. While I understand scheduling problems happen, this is on the Wine Bistro, and I dont understand why the manager didnt offer anything but an apology. :(

It seems like a nice place with a good atmosphere and food but dont expect much cooperation from the manager when trying to set up a party. We stopped in after not receiving a return phone call in hopes to set up a Christmas party. We had a nice bottle of Malbec, fondue, salad and pizza. We enjoyed our meal and wine but were not impressed with the manager who wouldnt return our phone calls just a couple days following our visit. One would think that bringing in 40-50 new customers would be a welcomed event. Instead we were made to feel like we were being done a favor as the manager told us that she could "flip" that space several times during the period we were asking for (7:30 pm - close). Hopefully management loses her used car salesman mentality when negotiating terms for a party. Im sure well return but are not likely to invite our friends to an event at this location.

Wine Bistro onjures up an image for a great glass of vino and some cheese plates at the least. This? this is some of the worst wine and food I have ever experienced at a price that made me only sicker. They recork their wine without pumping out the air, they dont know how long its been open, and dont seem to taste when it has gone bad. My sister and I ordered an antipasto that was the most pitiful plate ive ever had. This is by far the poorest excuse of an antipasto and it was $9 to boot! It had a small pile of limp greens in the middle of the plate, about 5 grapes, 1 jalapeno, 1 small roasted red pepper, about 5 tiny squares of a cheese that could have been good, about 4 small chunks of pepperoni. Nine bucks!!! People-get a recipe book at the very least and read the ingredients that should be in this salad! oh, and the service was pretty awful on top of it all.

We chose to go for an early 2:30 p.m. Valentines Day (2017) meal and miss the crowd. This was our first visit to The Wine Bistro and we were the only ones there. We liked the decor and were seated at a small table for two in a pleasant cozy corner surrounded by wine bottles. We decided to have a bottle of (excellent) Zinfandel for $36 and discovered that on Monday and Tuesday there was No $8 corking fee and this reduced the cost. The tomato basil bisque soup was very good and we enjoyed our chop-chop salads as well. I had two crab cake sliders and my wife had the Italian baguette sandwich which she found delicious. All in all the service, food, and everything was extremely pleasurable and we really enjoyed ourselves by having a quiet meal out, thus, the Five Star rating.

I originally spotted the Winery from US-23. The interior is classy, yet the atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. I can come in dressed up or dressed down. The staff are laid back and enjoyable to talk with. On August 21, they started serving food (yeah!). They are closed on Sundays. Usually they are open until 10PM or so. They open just before lunch time. I always love stopping into the Winery. They have a great selection of wines. Seating can accommodate about 100 people. Ive ordered a case of wine that I encountered in one of their summer wine flights. You can reserve tables or the back room for a private party. I believe they can also do wine catering for parties. They are located on the West side of US-23 about a mile North of I-270.

This place is overrated and too pricey. The wine selection (to buy by the glass) wasnt too impressive and you did not get much food for your money. I ordered a large cheese board for $11 - it had a few pieces of 5 different cheeses, a handful of grapes, and a small piece of bread. I was very dissapointed. The servie was horrible - the hostess asked me 4 times how many people were in my party. Once we had our food, our server never returned and we had to find her to get our check. While I was eating, one of the workers kept trying to take my plate even though I was not finished! Also, it is very crowded in there and it is hard to navigate through the tables. I will not return.

We went in around 6pm on a Saturday evening with a reservation, there was maybe 3 other tables of people at this time. We ordered 4 salads, all of our meat was barely warm at all, very dry and the greens were closer to room temperature than chilled. We did not say anything to the waiter, so I can not say for how they would handle that situation. On our way out, what I assume to be a manager of some sort, was extremely rude and unfriendly when someone in our party had asked her to take a photo for us. I will not choose this location as a place to go out again, or recommend it to others.
