The other day I called and asked if they had a certain kind of candy, they said no instantly. I told them I called 12 places before hand and I was desperate. It was for s very specific party, and I begged if she could look inn the computer system too check, so I was put on hold, the girl came back and said no, so long story short I drove 30 min away for specific candy that we needed for a party and when I got home I forgot drinks, so I went too their store and walked thru the candy isle and there it was, a while bunch, and the best part was it was GIANT EAGLE Brand!! Oh I was so mad, ... Ive noticed the women specifically in this store have attitudes, and do not care about customer service.

This is where I used to shop when I lived in Plain Township and this is where I still shop when I visit my Mom. Ive always called it the Giant Beagle. I used to borrow my moms reward card when I visit but this last summer I finally signed up for my own card. The people working here are friendly and helpful. I was looking for lunch meats that are lower in sodium and the woman behind the counter spent quite some time letting me read labels and comparing the sodium content of the different choices. We let other people go ahead of me so we didnt hold them up but I really appreciated her taking the extra time to help me.

Kathy N was my cashier @ Giant Eagle today July 15 at around 2:15 today...She was incredible!! Had my grandson with me & she made my horrible day so much better!! I was really laughing out loud when she gave my grandson (who was hinting for birthday gifts in 14 days) a can of dog food I was buying & told him Happy Birthday!!! He and I cracked up & laughed about it on the ride home!! Thank you Kathy N @ 30th Street Giant Eagle in Canton Ohio!!!

Shopping today at GE was not a pleasant experience! The cashier had a "Cold" and was wiping "You know what on the back of her hand while coughing into the front of her hand!" She did not know to cough into her elbow! I would think GE would know to train and help cashiers to be more Germ and Cold and Flu aware!

They could have better employees that are my customer friendly went there last week and the cashiers on register 10 was very rude first time I ever reserves like most of the employee are friendly just this one person told the head cashiers about attitude and never had such bad service ever until then

I love their selection and the gas perks, but they need more cashiers at peak hours, I usually wait in the cashier line for quite a while, and in December I waited three times for 20-25 minutes, the lines were backed up all over. Not good if you are buying ice cream and frozen products.

This Giant Eagle has a good selection of items. I will say however that the customer service is very hit or miss. Its either amazing or it is terrible. This does change department to department.
