I decided to finish my basement, so I went in and asked to get everything outlined as a quote. Had them deliver the stuff separately, and everything went fine at first. As I continued on the project, I found out they had forgotten certain items that should have been on the price quote but were conveniently forgotten. For example, if youre buying ceiling tiles for a drop ceiling, it would make sense to have the metal gridwork to hang the tiles from on there, right? Well, that wasnt on the quote along with a few other things "they forgot" to add. Those additions added up to over $1,000, and suddenly their competitive price quote wasnt looking so good anymore. Im left feeling like they pulled a fast one on me, and Im not really happy about it. Its funny, really, because the guys at the desk will talk to you for 20 minutes about how theyre going to put everything into the computer and try as hard as they can to save you as much money as possible. Then, after they save you only 10% on just one item, you find out you were actually underquoted on the entire job and total costs are now 20% more than what you were told. Now, Im not going to be stupid and say "oh Im never going to shop at this store again" because I know thats not true. You can bet Ill do everything I possibly can to get things from Lowes or any other store that has the products I need in the future, though. This store will literally be my last resort, either go here or do without the item.

This location today not only honored their RockForge lifetime return policy for the second time this summer, but I managed to break my claw hammer trying to get the head of the Rockforge axe free, they willfully replaced both broken tools. This is why I intend to purchase my snowblower from them if they have the same warranty. I was window shopping today, this why they got 10k in business from me this summer. I intend to spend another 1k this week. Admittedly I am sometimes a difficult customer, and expect great customer service, this location has consistently met standards and with a smile. Peggy today the csr, excellent. Totally cordial with a great sense of humor. Last week, I was assisted in making a trident for my kayaks to collect trash, and it was amazing being creative to solve my problem as the employee was smiling the whole time and pleasant as can be. There is a young guy in the paint section, I feel bad for forgetting his name, he is there daily and is so nice that it makes me feel like a bad person. This Home Depot is doing a great job. Hat off to the GM. ......update I went back and bought the largest snow blower they sold. 3 stage $1200, cub cadet. Thank you Lenny for your help.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS STORE! Twice in one day I was given broken equipment that had cut and exposed power cords. They even assured me the equipment was inspected before hand, BULLSHIT! The best they could offer for my waste of a day for dragging there crap back and forth was a free partial day rental when thet had no other machines left in stock for me to take. WTF kind of service is that? P.S. Thank you to the losers who returned equipment after cutting the cords and not mentioning it youre bigger idiots then this stores service reps.

Rented a stump grinder and it was NOT self propelled. The idiot working behind the desk said they all are designed to not be self propelled. Its one thing to not know. Its another to lie about it. I found out afterwards that you can get a self propelled stump grinder. You just cant get one at the Home Depot.

Best Home Depot Ive been to. Knowledgeable employees around every corner. You dont have to hunt them down like at other store locations. Tool rental staff is great. Glad this location is right around the corner.

Renting equipment from the Brunswick location is like standing in line at the DMV for a new license. The system is always "broken", they are always understaffed, and often the equipment is poorly worn
