For the most part the staff is Gr8, found brand new and awesome bargains., I shop there a few times a week. Live the day lady is the best!! and some of the nite. The black gay guy is not so nice,he questions everything. I have no problems with sexual orientation, but when it comes to customer service and use that as an excuse, then I question things. Hes not nice and really pushes his sexual orientation. Amvets should think about it. He protests a bad stigma there!!! Watch out the kids that work there will use your points money, they dont even ask. They just so it, ya all should save it for the bigger items, tell them u dont want to use it. Dave it They are suppose to ask, happy with the days not so much the night.

First I must say that a thrift store is exactly that. Anyone expecting it to be a khols is an idiot. They have a vast selection of items that people like myself generously donate not for people who complain about everything but for our VETERANs. This is the point. To help those who need our help.When we are customers at thrift shops like Amvets we should donate and give with a cheerful heart knowing that it isnt about us but about who we get to bless.

Great store to find interesting items. The prices at most thrift stores have been going up and Amvets is no exception. $7.99 for a pair of ripped jeans? $4.99 for a t-shirt that sells for $5.99 brand new? They need to get back to realizing that people mostly shop at thrift stores because they have low income and cant afford to buy things new. This particular store is very dirty and needs to be better organized!

This is an awesome thrift shop--it is truly like finding treasures..and of course its filthy!! LOL!! Its a freakin THRIFT SHOP! Not a lot of extra money for cleaning staff. I used to work a thrift shop 25 yrs ago way before the college/professional years. I still believe it was one of the best jobs I ever had, despite horrible owners and minimum wage. The treasures I would find and bring home!!!!

Over the past few months, theyve been pricing things as if they were a consignment shop.. Between the furniture & clothing, they jacked everything up. I can buy my kids brand new tshirts for $5 at the Childrens Place, Walmart, Target, etc!! Used items, even if theyre in good condition, should not be priced in the same manor.
