As for the reservoir: 7 miles long. 48 campsites surrounding. No charges for parking or site. DEC ran. I canoe camp it as much as possible. Love this place. Oops. This is supposed to be about the shop...convenient and nicely family ran. Frank is unique but has pretty much whatever you need. Canoe and motor boat rentals available which is handy. Check it out!

Area and lake very nice, but avoid the shop. Owner should have retired years ago. He didnt smile once and was swearing at the help. He didnt seem like a very happy man. Other than that, the store is adequately stocked, but gas here is expensive due to having to truck it in so far. Fill your tank before coming.

Frank & Jackie are wonderful ambassadors for the lake and the area. The shop is a great place to grab an ice cream, rent a boat, or swap stories about the weather.
