It needs some attention. Someone else suggested having car shows, farmers market, something to attract people to events. Maybe a craft show. Until the empty spaces get filled, how about letting school groups use some space to demonstrate their robotics teams or a preview to a music performance, a maker space club (small fees), etc. With all the hotels in the close proximity Im surprised there isnt a Cracker Barrel or something like it on the perimeter. How about a Tesla super charger to bring in a few people.

Came down from Albany and went here because I had some extra time before a basketball game. There are certainly a lot of stores but its dead. I walked into some of the stores and the employees looked at me like I was the first person there in the store all day. Wouldnt be surprised if I was. There is also a funky unpleasant smell all throughout. The mall has potential if they just fix a few things like the smell and get more things to bring people in like shows or events but right now I wouldnt recommend

The Kingston mall has seen better days. Much better days. Many of the stores (including two of the four anchor stores) have closed their doors. Sears cant be far behind. Still the place is clean and safe. The stores that are left are nice with good service. The tea shop is great. The food court is a great place to meet before a movie. The mall management really needs to do whatever it takes to start filling the inordinate amount of empty space.

The kingston plaza is a better mall. More and more stores leaving. Now you want to make this place part medical. A mall should be kept a mall.Time will tell , Ill keep the faith to see what you new owners are going to do. But looking at jcpenny empty, macys empty, all papered up.A little to long now.The rolling rock empty, the old ground round empty. Friendlys empty -we need a few good places to eat instead of a food court.

Small, mostly closed shops. Small, awful, Best Buy. Only bright spot is Target, but they cannot help this awful mall. Has actually gone bankrupt, and two major anchor stores, JC Penney and Macys closed roughly two years ago. Sears itself is hanging by a small thread. Most of the trash heads to Ghetto Mart across from it.

Hudson Valley Motorsports

Sad that after having fond memories @ H.V.Mall growing up, that the only thing it has to offer to my childs entertainment is the Fun-E-Farm and the Regal Cinemas. Would think with all the hotels going up that it would keep the mall alive, unfortunately not the case. #BringOurEconomyBack

The Hudson Valley Mall is now under new ownership but the empty anchor stores and lack of any restaurants make this a mall that needs improvement. The new owners have said big things are coming but there is a lot that needs to be done to make this the retail attraction it once was.

This mall is almost dead. In the middle of the day theres hardly anyone shopping, because theres hardly any stores left. The only reasons left are target and best buy, and theyre both on one side, so theres no reason to go into the rest of the mall. And now is in foreclosure.

The mall used to be great. Now it stinks. selling the same crappy stuff. Need good stores that will stay. The only time I go there is it to visit C& C Hair Salon, Yankee Candle and bath and body works. Then I leave. I never go to any other part of the mall.

This mall is dying. Its sad, really, they used to be full of thriving businesses, and now people dont shop at small malls. I think if they got a new management company, and looked to Colonie Center for a pattern to follow, theyd make a comeback.

Seems to be a dead zone. You would think whoever manages this mall would think of creative ways to attract customers, i.e. farmers market, car show, concert,, etc. Plant some trees at least and create a more pedestrian-friendly environment.

I use their community room every Saturday to teach the 5 hour pre license class and it is always clean with comfortable tables and chairs for my students. Mall management is very accommodating as well.

Its an old mall and many shops have closed. Whats left of the anchor stores are good but there are many empty shops within the mall itself. The movie theater is ok. Does not have stadium seating tho.

As far as malls go, the HVM doesnt blow me away...its taking a slow crawl toward death, losing more and more stores every year. But its got some good anchor stores and a pretty good food court.

Since Macys and some major stores have left the place last year, that mall is pretty depressing. You can still find other shops there but this is not a fun place to go anymore...

It is a dying of mall. Many of the store fronts are either empty or occupied by low-traffic businesses. At least there are still four big stores operating at this mall.

Its ok. Has lost many stores. During the week has low amounts of foot traffic. Honestly I believe its because there isnt much left. I really hope it picks up.

Nice mall, but its slowly dying. Most shops are closing up and those that are left are large chains. Regal Cinemas 12 is great, and the Best Buy is good too.

Most store have closed down only four main stores, best buy Gander mtn, target, and sears, all others are small clothing stores and hair saloons

This place either needs to be closed, or revamped. Other than Best Buy, Dicks and Target, there is no reason to go there, in my opinion.

Still solid anchors like Target and Best Buy buy this mall has seen better days. Hopefully the new ownership can bring some life back.

Everyone is very nice and I love they have GameStop, F.Y.E and Hottopic but is just missing....something..a little garden area maybe?

Most of the stores are closed, or closing... Though it still has a theatre and seems to be popular amongst the elderly mall walkers

Its a mall, like most malls in small town USA it seems to be struggling to exist. That being said its it bad as far as a mall goes
