Out of the Three 7-Elevens in the northport/east northport area, this one is by far the worst. For starters, almost all of the cashiers working all shifts seemingly go out of their way to ignore you. Not every single one, but almost all of them are extremely rude. Often times the staff will have their friends hanging out with them (not workers) , and they will ignore you for as long as they possibly can before actually acknowledging someone is waiting to be rung up. One particular cashier in the evening hours, a guy with long brown hair and an abnormally long beard had a tendency of ripping cash from your hands, and dumping your change on the counter (not placing, just tosses it down at your hands whether you were ready to receive it or not) . In addition to mr.happy with the brown beard, a younger girl in the morning hours just stares at you and says nothing, and this stare she does every single morning is comparable to a stare of death. Dont dare to interrupt the employee sidebar conversations with their co-workers or friends, as this guarantees an even worse attitude problem then you already would have gotten; or just more dirty looks for no reason. Almost every single employee of the place seems miserable, but the fact of the matter is that a vast majority of them go out of their way to cast their miserable attitudes onto the customers. I dont really care what their issues are, it shouldnt be a normal tendency to act like total assholes whenever you have to ring someone up. The food that is supposed to be warmed in the ovens is typically cold and hard as a rock, it really seems that the employees dont even bother to keep the oven on long enough to actually cook the food. Not that 7 eleven is supposed to be 4 star quality, but it would be nice if the food was edible. About the only thing that is fresh in the place at any time is the coffee and any sealed packaged goods; besides that its almost always stale and cold. Retail isnt fun Im aware of this, but every other 7-eleven Ive been to besides this one is more than adequate. Its a shame that this is one of few convenient stores in the area, for its the most poorly ran convenience store Ive ever been to. That needed to be said for well over 2 years. Im done with this place. Never could I have imagined that workers attitudes would compel me to stop visiting a CONVENIENCE store, but that is certainly the case with this establishment.

Likable staff - kind and pleasant to me on visits. They seem like they genuinely care that the hot prepared foods are actually fresh enough to eat if you order something.
