I went to Mavis for a simple inspection. I was charged for fixing my tail lights, that was fine Id rather be safe. I got it back and realized it was wired wrong they were fine when in park but as soon as I pressed the brake they went out.. I took the car back and was told I was going to have to pay to get it done again.. that was not going to happen. They re-did their mistake. Within the next few days the lights started falling out of the sockets and melting my tail light housing. So again I took it back, and I had to drive without lights in the inner section of my hatch. They were going to replace them with OEM parts because the two sockets they used before were two different sockets not even made for my vehicle.. The next day I got pulled over.. the officer informed me that the outside tail lights were now flickering every time I went over a bump! I took it to the shop on the day I made an appointment to have the parts put in and they were still wrong! So now I have to wait another week before this gets resolved.. Staff other than the one woman I dealt with were fine, prices are usually great. But I dont think Ill be bringing any of my vehicles back here because of this reason.. this will be the 5th time I have taken my car back.. Update: Took my car back for the 5th time finally got it fixed but after that all of the lights in the car are flickering(shorting out) and my ABS light has turned on.. So not pleased with the shop.

Got brake pads and rotors fixed. And got car inspected. Paid around $230. Thought everything was good. Brake light was not working yet it somehow passed inspection. Was driving about 1 hour after getting car back. And car stalled and would not run. Called Mavis and they wanted us to get the car towed to them to check it out. But it would of cost over $100. So I took it to a garage near where the car broke down and they said the CV Shaft broke. And it could not have been from a pothole. So we called Mavis and they said theyre not liable even though the other garage said it was probably caused by Mavis taking off the rotors and pounding on them and somehow must have ruined it. Mavis was really rude about the situation and ignored the fact that they caused it and wouldnt even fix it. Would not recommend them to anyone. The garage where we broke down was caring and very friendly. Thankful I didnt break down near Mavis.

I just "found" an old favorite; Cole/Mavis and had some simple work done and have now started on a long list of things to bring my car back to better shape. The staff have all been so good! I get in fast, the work is done fast, the prices are very good! I have laughed when I waited in the waiting area a few times to hear so many people say, "Is that all!!!" when they get their bill. I appreciate that they have noticed small issues and let me know about them and have taken me out to show me what is needed. Very impressed and grateful to have found a good shop!

I have to say, these guys have given me the best prices ever, and have actually invited into the garage to show me certain issues. Never before have I had that kind of customer service from a car garage. I like these guys and their work ethic. Ill only go here for as long as i live in Cortland

Fast and reliable service. I bought a new tire and they did the job for the cost of the tire alone. I realized its not the correct one for my car. They changed it to a more expensive brand free of charge and I didnt even have to wait during lunchtime.
