Not only are all of the tattoo artists at this shop very talented, but one of the artists (Matt) is also a very experienced piercer. My friend and I were looking for a place to get our nipples pierced, and got a recommendation from a tattoo shop that didnt do piercings to come to Monarch. We could not have ended up in a better place! Matt was incredibly professional and informative. He has a great personality and sense of humor and knows how to make a customer comfortable (especially for something as sensitive as nipple piercings for a girl). Everything was kept very clean, and he made sure to get all of his equipment ready in front of me so that I could verify that everything was straight out of a sterilized, sealed package. Also we got free stickers. Hahah.

Funny how the last rating mentions that Matt opened up his equipment and all in front of her, we experienced the opposite. Matt did not open any of his equipment while we were in the room. We walked in and he had everything set up, all out of package. When asked to open up a new needle and sterilize everything it was done in silence. He did not socialize at all. Needless to say I walked out with a whole with no earing in it because he couldnt manage to get the earring in! He thought he was doing a "favor" by not charging? Would never recommend to my worst enemy, much less ever go there again. Go anywhere else. They only do 5 piercing locations, go somewhere where there is a much more experienced piercer. Which is probably anywhere!!!!!

What I liked about monarch tattoo is that the artists are friendly and their work is spectacular the place has a clean nice feel and smell to it which helped me trust the artists and facility. everyone will not waste your time while they are working on you and they work fast and efficiently making my experience great

Jen C. Is amazing person and great tattoo artist. The other artists David, Vincent, and Jennylynn are also great. I have been personally been tattooed by Jen C., Have friends that have been tattooed by the other artists. Amazing talent at this shop. Friendly atmosphere and professional.
