One of the better comics shops especially if you are into figures and pops. They have a great selection of everything. I used to go about once a week but since moving farther away I still try and go whenever I am in Manalapan. Their Black Friday weekend sale is the best I have seen from any shop and I just hope they keep doing that because even with the marked down prices I am sure they generate a lot of business from it. I have spent a lot of money over that weekend...the staff is also very knowledgeable and will always look for comics if they are not out on the salesfloor. Prices are what you would normally expect for the items they are selling. You could always find cheaper on the internet but I like to support the local shops because that is what was around when I was growing up. And again their black friday weekend sale is fantastic!

This was my first and last visit to this store. This is in regards to Free Comic Book Day 2016. I called the night before, two hours before they closed, to ask if they were selling the exclusive Free Comic Book Day Funko Dorbz Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. They said they had 5 of each and to arrive early to ensure I get one. I arrived an hour and a half early and was second in line. When they opened, an individual behind me asked if they had the Dorbz. I talked with that individual while we were waiting and he said he was told they had 12 of the Dorbz. The employee said no, the owner took them all to the other store. The guy waiting in line with me called the other store and they said they had none to begin with. The employees didnt even sound surprised the owner did that. NOT A GREAT, GOOD OR EVEN A WAY TO DO BUSINESS!

My go-to place for comics. The staff is young and friendly. The backstock is impressive for a store of its size. In fact, the backstock is one of the main draws for me. They can replenish missing issues missing, and pricing for rarer issues is generally fair. I was able to build quite the collection here. In addition to the backstock, the comic wall is very well-stocked. A great comic wall combined with a great backstock is a rarity in this region of NJ. The store layout is organized logically, and the selection covers both collectibles and comics. They also offer a store punch card system which is a great incentive, and they are very reliable with pull lists. There is ample reason that Zapp of Manalapan is my store of choice.

Zapp comics and cards in Manalapan is a great place for comic book and action figure collectors. They have comic books that are hard to fine in other comic book stores. There comic books are in good condition and are well protected. There store is neat and organized making the comic books easy to find. BUT there comic books are bit pricey. One regular comic book is around 4 to 5 dollars, when they should be 1or 2 dollars. Over all I think its it a great place for comic book collectors and I advice you to go there for comic book fans.

This is a great comic book shop, if you can find it. Its directly off Rt. 9 South, but in a strip mall thats very hard to see from the road. It has a good selection of items, but this is a secondary store to their flagship location in Wayne, NJ. Youll typically find older items here in my experience, and items seem to last longer too most likely due to the lower foot traffic.

I have been to this shop multiple times and I have never had a problem. I called Zapp (Manalapan) today in regard to the new Darth Vader issue that came out. The employee that I talked to was nice enough to put a copy aside for me before they ran out. Great selection and excellent customer service. Be sure to stop in if youre ever in the area!

Im a fan of Both Zapp locations. The staff here are great and friendly. They cater to their customers, and always best customer service possible. Great selection of comics, collectibles, and toys. There is always something new whenever I visit. A must see if youre into pop culture and comics.

Closed on Tuesday? Doesnt seem necessary, even with Wednesday being new comic day.. Ive been to a bunch of smaller shops that stay open on Tuesday and make it work. Ill change my rating and review when I get to go in. I added the hours to this listing.

Decent comic shop that has that a lot of figurines, statues, back issues. Its a great place to go, especially since there isnt another comic shop until you get to NY.
