I ordered an orchid for as a gift for Mothers Day. It was the most unpleasant experience Ive ever encountered. The orchid plant was diseased - the leaves were split down the middle and broken and the edges looked like theyd been eaten by an insect. The recipient was embarrassed to have to complain about the condition of the plant. I called the shop the next day and explained the situation. The owner was immediately defensive - she refused to believe that it was a diseased plant. I asked how she was going to amend the situation because it was a mothers day gift, and she immediately snapped at me and said, "You havent even given me a chance to talk". When I said that it was very embarrassing and unpleasant to have to do this over a mothers day gift, she said "So what do you want to do - do you want to beat me up about it?" She said that shed have to wait to receive a replacement plant from the distributor because it was "a loss for her". I asked her how it would be a loss for her, because she hadnt said anything about how she was going to amend the situation - replace the plant or give a refund. I said that I didnt think this was good enough - she immediately hung up on me. In total, this was a 1 min 4 second phone call. I tried calling back a few times, and it went straight to voicemail. This was very amusing since I was calling from abroad. I was just shocked that she had hung up on me, and I was shocked by the childish, mean-spirited nature of the phone call. I am still in complete disbelief. I thought that perhaps this was an honest mistake, the owner wasnt able to monitor the flowers she sent from her shop. But instead, I can only see this as an irresponsible decision to try and get away with sending defective, diseased plants (especially since her customer isnt living in the area). I had thought it would be better to support a small business rather than from a corporation. This has been absolutely surreal. A note to the owner - it looks also like you read all these reviews, and good for you for getting positive ones, but for the negative ones, you go absolutely crazy. I have honestly NEVER experienced something like this - it is incredibly unprofessional, and I feel sorry for you if you have to get by doing business by hanging up on clients. You have a privilege, flowers are meant to make people happy - they are gifts of love. Stop spreading poison.

I have never posted a bad review for a business before but my experience with the owner of this business was so disturbing that I had to comment. My order was for my first grandchild. I asked for white roses with some blue, for a baby boy. They called back because they lost the card and I had to recreate the message. When the flowers arrived I was so disappointed in the quality and lack of design. The flowers were also topped off with happy birthday balloons. That was the best part of my experience with this business. When I called to express my disappointment, I was screamed at by the owner without her letting me even speak. A few of her words to me: " I am a single mother of three kids and have no f---n money. You just had a grandchild ... Shame on you ... This bad karma is going to come back to you and on your grandchild." There was much more of this followed by a long and ranting text message. Needless to say there is a real problem with anyone treating a customer this way. While I can empathize with her financial struggles, as a single mom of three children myself, I can not accept how this was handled. I am certain this woman will post an unprofessional response to this review to excuse away her awful behavior. Most definitely the worst business transaction I have ever encountered.

Let me start by saying that I am blown away by the service I just received. I ordered a gift for my mom for mothers day through Amazon a few days ago with rushed delivery, it was supposed to be there by yesterday and she never received it, fed ex said theyd be back again today to bring her her package and they never came back. I feverishly started looking for local florists in the Bergen County area because I am in Orlando fl and wanted to have flowers delivered to her tomorrow so that at the very least she could receive something and seeing as how she lives alone it would be a pretty sad Mothers Day to not have at least one flower... With that being said, I made the call to Flowers by Lili and whomever it was that I was speaking with on the phone, possibly Lili herself, told me not to worry. She stayed with me on the phone while I looked through the flowers on their site, even though she was probably very busy (THE NIGHT BEFORE MOTHERS DAY!) She worked with me to create a very beautiful arrangement at a very reasonable price. To me this shows that there is a lot to be said about working one-on-one with the person as opposed to doing everything online. Flowers by Lili proved that to me. Well done...and endless thank yous to your team

Lili took a late afternoon order from me and was able to deliver a gorgeous arrangement just hours later when other Engelwood area florists turned my order down or told me to wait until the next day. She was courteous and helpful, and the recipients LOVED the flowers, which Lili hand-delivered to Engelwood Hospital and arranged to have waiting in my friends hospital room when she returned from the delivery room. Lili kept in touch with me via phone to let me know when the flowers were delivered, and even made arrangements for me to pay her on good faith when her credit card machine was down - she really went above and beyond! I live at the shore, but I will definitely use Flowers by Lili again the next time I need to send flowers to my friends in Engelwood.

I called on a Sunday afternoon to see if I could stop by to pick up 2 bouquets of flowers and Lili offered to deliver them to me because they were out working an event that day ... and within one hour I had the two most gorgeous and perfect bouquets of fresh and colorful flowers I have ever seen delivered to my door ... I am continuously amazed by the quality and service delivered by Flowers by Lili along with fair and reasonable prices ... if everyone I deal with operated at this level of service and professionalism, I would be a very happy guy ... my sincere thanks to Lili and her staff for consistently delivering amazing flowers and getting everything exactly right every time ...

Calling from out of state to have flowers delivered to my sister in the hospital, I wasnt sure who to call and trust. After calling a few businesses, I found Lili who was professional, but added a personal touch. Because of the time difference (it was 4:00 p.m. NJ time) I didnt expect the flowers to be delivered until the following day. About 2 hours later I received a text from my sister thanking me for the beautiful flowers. The exceptionally superior service was consistent throughout - assisting me with suggestions, taking my order and the speedy delivery. Lili exceeded all my expectations and I would highly recommend her.
