Ive been here multiple times before, however, on this one particular occasion that I showed my Louisiana drivers license...they denied me! Of course, I put up a fight instantly because I was furious considering that every other time Ive come in the store, they approved my drivers license! A man, dressed in this goofy tourist shirt approached me and began babbling about fines this store could pay. I was under the impression that he was just a nosy customer putting his "two cents" in. I was so heated that I impulsively replied how it was complete "bullshit" considering the fact that theyve served me here before. I was in awe that I was treated so unfairly here. He kicked me out! It wasnt until I went outside that I realized he was owner. Unfortunately for him, he is going to have to pay fines because Im filing a claim. According to him, my drivers license is invalid...and since theyve deemed my license invalid but sold me alcohol three weeks prior? Well, bank statements dont lie!

Im very disappointed with the manager to day Friday march 19 2017 I always come here she card me once witch is fine never card me again till today she takes care of a white guy now its my turn she looks at me and says where is ur ID Im like really u card me already i come here like 3 time a week and u see me every time but now u want card me I knw its just the right thing to do but my point is I felt discriminated like y u gna card me and not the kid in front of me! Like really so I walk out to my car to grab my ID while shes looks at me and says sorry I just never seen u before! I just look at her like are u serious now!! It makes me feel like not coming in ever again!

Stopped in to see what the selection was like. Met Mike who was able to answer all of my questions. I even asked what sorts of drinks were trending at the moment, and he knew the answer to that as well! Every item I asked him about he was able to take me to that spot in the store and tell me about the various liquors and wines and things that were good for Sangria. And he was fun to talk to! I dony usually shop in liquor stores, so I feel really awkward when I first came in. But Mike was friendly and knowledgable and I highly recommend stopping in here whenever you visit the Pleasantville Sams Club!

Ive seen lots of people get turned away from this place for being legitimately underage. Which is not a bad thing, and from what Ive heard theyve had problems in the past. I wouldnt get too upset if they turned me away(which would be hard to do since I have three different GVT IDs). Just go to one of the other Canals locations, the one across from the movie theater just up the road isnt even the same ownership, so its not like youd be giving them your business. Anyway, they have one of the best beer selections around, and prices are fair. This is the place I go to weekly.

Great selection of beer...bought 8 6 pkgs...ready for summer...but employee who helped put it in my car....asked IF I had a physical problem...now I think of that I am a little insulted by his question...i just can not lift 2 boxes..with 4 six packs each an employee last year told me they were always ready to help...my answer was I could be your grandmother n I just can not luft anything that heavy....oh well their beer selection is terrific...employees not so sure

Joe Canals in EHT has (2) locations and are by far the biggest selection, with the cheapest prices. Their staff is the most knowledgable by far compared to their competitors in the area. Ridiculous wine and beer selection and every liquor known to man! Best place around.
