Today I drove about an hour or so to this store, at first the man was helpful with my questions but then as I told him I was from out of state he and the older lady began to change. I already knew about the laws from NY where I am from but it seemed as if the older lady wanted to find anything she could so she would not sell me a gun. The man kept going back and forth saying he could and couldnt sell the gun to me when finally I was in the checkout process he gave me some papers to sign. I ended up not being able to purchase the gun because I was truthful and told them that the address on my ID was different than where I lived (still valid), this I did not know would end the whole process. So I was a little dissapointed and to add to the dissapointment the man and lady were very rude and disrespect to me since my address was different. Dont know if it was because I was from a different state or what but It seemed as if, from the start, they did not want my business. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Mrs. Welch, the owner, deems herself the judge of each patrons right to bear arms. When you enter the store, the other employees will kindly assist you, but this woman - despite being largely ignorant of the products she sells - will scoff at any inquiry and frown and complain when you ask to purchase a firearm. The prices arent right - its just MSRP. And haggling would be impossible. There were folks waiting several hours for her to call the state police to do a background check because this woman is a micro-manager, doesnt trust the other employees, and doesnt know how to use a phone. Save your time and patience. Go somewhere else.

I have been treated well there. Leila is knowledgeable and considering the responsibility she carries on her shoulders, handles it all well. She values her regular customers. During this latest ammo shortage she limited sales so everyone could have a chance to get ammo and if you bought a gun youd be able to buy ammo for it. If you are a jerk, shell put you in your place. Fifteen years and Im still a regular. Maybe I could find it cheaper somewhere else but the fair and honest service I get there more than makes up for the few bucks I may save elsewhere, where they dont know my name when I walk in the door.

The "beady-eyed fellow" is a man with serious medical problems and just maybe you think he should be locked away instead of being in a store he owns. I dont buy the kind of long guns stores like this stock but I have bought several handguns at competitive prices. I also have them order flats of shotgun shells and they mostly get the order right. Their prices for powder and bullets are pretty comparable - go ahead and drive an hour and (maybe) save a buck on a can of powder. I go to this store looking to get stuff I need, Im not looking for a new best friend.

Very friendly and very helpful. Every conversation about used pistols so far has demonstrated a solid knowledge not only of the model but of the individual weapons history. Every used pistol I have asked about has been test fired by the people behind the counter - I was scoffed at when I asked someone at another NH store if the used weapon had been test fired. Pricing is decent, not the cheapest, but the quality of service provided comes with a slight cost. That said, pricing is well in line with reasonable expectations.

UNlike the other reviews, I had a pretty good experience there. All of the people were nice enough and werent upset when I took an hour to decide between two guns. I also checked out other stores in the area; all of them had friendly staff but much less selection. I cant really comment on the prices because Im not that well informed on what they should be, but they seemed ballpark compared to what Ive seen online. I would go back.

Lila is a wonderful person, whose biggest thrill in life is to sell you a gun. She has a very high level of trust from the ATF from my experience and she will definitely refuse a sale if the law requires she does. If she didnt sell you a gun you should consider yourself lucky, she was protecting your interests as well! Lying on an ATF form or trying to buy a gun with a bad ID is a federal crime!

I love this LGS.. Im always treated with respect! The owner is a sweet Lady and her helper (Jeff) is a pretty cool dude (Ex LEO). The prices are average, but there is no State sales tax (Live Free or Die... Yaaaay). The selection is good... Lots of used guns and rifles! I generally buy ammunition and accessories here! All in all its pretty cool for a NH gun store! I will be back for more!

Great gun shop. Amazing selection of hunting and reloading supplies. They can get you anything you need in a hurry. Ive been shopping here for many years and buy gift certificates for family around the holidays. Always get an honest and educated answer to your gun related questions.
