I walked into this pawn shop and immediately it smelled amazing. I was having a rough day trying to sell a watch and this totally enlightened my mood the second I walked in. The people here were genuinely nice and talketive, full of spunk and even more did that enlighten my day. I was not able to sell my item because of circumstances, but walking out i did not feel like i lost. I walked out still happy because of the great service i received because of the wonerful staff at Chouteau pawn.

I went up here to sell a ring that I know is worth approximately $400 and I asked for $350 and he said "I dont want to offended you but they sell these for more than they are worth." Then my boyfriend walked in with gulf clubs and they said they dont buy them even though 2 were sitting in there. I believe that they were rude, dismissive, and didnt really take the time to provide a good customer experience.

I go there because of the good review, but one of the lady up front is very rude this place doesnt have any good customer service. they under-estimate you(if you are a foreigner)you not going to have a deal,they really think Im a trashy person and I dont have good thing to sell. never again!!!

These people are absolute assholes. Called about a guitar and said they would look at it when I brought it in just to go there and have them tell me they have "to many guitars". These people will lie to you and probably try to rip you off too. Please try to go to a better shop if possible.

My bass guitar had only 1 string broke on it so I dont blame them for not taking it but anyways they were friendly about it even the nice gentleman behind the desk wrote down a place where I could go get my bass guitar fixed :)

Just went there had no interest in anything.. Even a Beats Pill, a nice HP w2207h Monitor w Hdmi. A portable stereo / pa system.. Sucks dont waste your time with these yahoos..

Called ahead to see if they were currently buying guitars, they said yes we are. Go in with a guitar worth $700 just to be told, "we have too many guitars, Ill pass"
