Do not visit The LASIK Vision Institute unless you are prepared for a 7+ hour’s commitment for a 12 minute surgery. Recently, I purchased this Groupon for my wife as an anniversary present hoping she would enjoy the experience and improve her vision. Her experience was far from enjoyable. Upon arriving for her 8:15 AM surgical appointment, she was treated with hostility and neglect. Over the course of the next several hours my wife was forced to wait in anticipation for any update or response from her surgical team. They finally took her into pre-op around noon, where she again was forced to wait. In the interim, doctors and nurses continually harassed her to purchase $400 plugs for her post surgery recovery. She and I agreed beforehand these plugs were untested and unnecessary. She expressed her disinterest to no avail, yet the staff increasingly pushed to the point of molestation. At 2:45 she was finally brought into surgery, 7 hours after arriving. The staff and doctors were unapologetic and contemptuous to say the least. After the procedure they again attempted to intimidate her into purchasing the plugs. Their demeanor is unacceptable. I do not recommend this institution to anyone. I feel the use of the Groupon, as well as her disinterest in “snake-oil” post operation care, caused the staff to react negatively to my wife.

This is an amazing facility with a WONDERFUL staff and WONDERFUL physicians! They have always treated me with kindness, respect, and have always made me feel relaxed and comfortable (especially on the day of surgery). Everyone at the facility has been like this from my first consultation to my latest follow up visit. My very first visit everyone was helpful in answering my questions and I was offered additional packages other than what my groupon was for, but I was Never pushed into purchasing more than what came in for nor did I purchase anything other than what my groupon was for. The procedure was painless, the physicians, assistants, and staff are amazing and best of all- now I can see perfectly without dealing with the pain of contacts and/or glasses!!! Im so glad that I finally did this!!!!!!!

Awful place! Front staff unfriendly & unhelpful. They way overbook & roll people through like herd of animals & then act like saying an insincere "sorry" makes it ok. Plan on many hours for anything from consultation or testing for candacy. I ended up leaving before even got to the testing & no one even noticed. Only went because of a Groupon price that was substantially less then others. No way! Its your eyes and not worth it. Ended up at LasikPlus that I highly recommend. Cost more but well worth it & do not reqret one second of the decision from start to finish...including the cost.

The first consultation was a sells speech. Very unprofessional and pushy. They didnt make me feel comfortable or gained my trust to perform lasik at this institute. I chose a different provider and I am glad I did.

If I could give this place a negative score I would. They pack way to many people into a surgery day. They botched my Lasik so badly it will have to be redone.
