I would like to file a complaint with the pharmacy. I brought a prescription for an inhaler to be filled because im pregnant and have pneumonia. The pharmacist would not fill the rx because it needed a prior auth. I asked them to call my dr to change it to something else and the pharmacist told me i shouldnt be using it. I called the emergency on call obgyn and the dr said i NEEDED the inhaler because i have pneumonia and cannot breath and to ask the pharmacy to call again. I called the pharmacy and told the girl how important i needed them to call my dr for an inhaler my insurance covered. She said they would. I took a nap at home and woke up to call them and they were closed. I called the urgent care i was seen at and they said the pharmacist never called. I am very upset. Im pregnant and im limited to the medicine i can take. My dr said the pharmacist had no right to tell me not to use the inhaler or to wait until monday for the inhaler to be covered by my insurance for a prior auth which would have me use the very inhaler she said not to use. I asked her twice to call. She said she would and she didnt. I am very upset. I worked in a pharmacy for 9 years and know a quick phone call would have solved my problem but they did not care. Hopefully i do not end up in the ER this weekend since the pharmacy refuses to help me breathe.

This is seriously the worst Pharmacy EVER! I waited in line for 35 min for one script that was called in yesterday! They have very little help here and the ones that are working have ZERO sense of urgency! Which means the management here has no clue as to what is going on either. Smh will never come back To top it off, when I got to the counter they said its not filled yet just have a seat. Mind you when I dropped off the script they said 30 min. An hour later I came back, waited in line for 35 min.... and it is still not filled. This place is the worst steer clear of this pharmacy!

Worst pharmacy of my life. They seem to be constantly busy, so its very disappointing at their lack of staff for the volume of customers. Waited in line 30 minutes to finally get up to the front just to be told they hadnt gotten to my rx that had been sent over from urgent care 2 hours earlier. Then waited additional half hour for them to fill, and once again had to wait in line! From all the complaints from customers in line, it seemed to be a common problem, and most certainly will never be returning.

For at least the last couple months I have had increasingly difficult problems getting my medication from the pharmacy. Either its closed when the sign clearly shows it should be open (this has happened multiple times,) or my prescription cannot be filled in a timely manner, or at all. I had a tooth pulled and was prescribed pain killers, and the pharmacy tech told me they were "only doing antibiotics that day." How is that even possible?

Go in on a Monday, not busy. Drop off script while I shop. Ask how long, they say 20min,1hr 30 min later its ready. I was told someone left sick. Now I wouldnt mind if that wasnt the same excuse given to me the last 3 times I went there. The place is a joke. Id probably spend less time finding my fathers blood pressure meds in a back alley drug deal. So Id say go somewhere else.

I checked around to every pharmacy in our area and talked to the head Pharmacist in each store I had special drug orders that needed to be filled on time. Most of the Pharmacists were nothing special.....then I found Meijers! All go way out of their way to be helpful, I dont know why people said negative things they must have been in the wrong Pharmacy.

I am 54 and medications have been a part of my whole life and this pharmacy is the worst by far.....even across the USA .....there is no excuse...over the past 2 years has been rapidly going down hill well congrats .......theyve hit rock bottom!! Sad that you have to press 1 star to post

it does take awhile but when its your turn they take their time with you, they are very helpful, explaining everything. i appreciate my pharmacy, dome of you should be ashamed by the way you think bad timing on your part constitutes emergency on theirs

The woman who helped me was very nice and I dont feel it took any longer than normal to pick up my prescription, but I wasnt given everything that was sent in to be filled, and there was no mention of my second script not being ready for pickup.

Slowest drive thru ever! I waited 45 minutes in the drive thru for one prescription! Gave them my drivers license and all they kept saying is someone will be with you shortly! This happens every time I go there! Choose another Meijer!

They are ALWAYS out of antibiotics. "Im sorry were out of that, we had to order it and we will have it in 5 days!" Ridiculous, youre a pharmacy, learn to have enough medication on hand, especially amoxicillin!!

The pharmacy is extremely slow on a more or less consistent basis. They are the absolute bottom of the barrel. You could be treated better at almost any other pharmacy in the city.

It is a very busy pharmacy, but the techs are some of the best I have ever meet. They go out of their way to help where they can. Wait times can be long.
