Agua Dulce is our familys source for tea and whole bean coffee. Coffee is roasted right there on the premises and has been delicious. There is a large selection of tea, and the proprietor is quite knowledgeable of the various coffees and teas. The quality of the food is superb. The proprietor is constantly trying new recipes and is very careful to use the finest, fresh ingredients. They strive to please, also. There is a lot of individual attention, whether it is getting exactly what you want in your food order, or simply engaging in friendly conversation about food at the coffee bar. Once I wanted a simple plate of cheeses. Even though it was not on the menu, they put it together for me. I highly recommend Agua Dulce. Oh, yes, their baked oatmeal is great, and the Fallon Fav veggie sandwich is delicious.

So glad they opened up here in Monroe! Agua Dulce makes up for much of the "college town coffee shops" that I miss. Fastest internet Ive found in Monroe and certainly better than Paneras down the street. Friendly staff and awesome selection of teas and coffees. I do wish they had more food, but it seems that wasnt profitable as they stopped serving lunch sandwiches, though they do have breakfast items (but only standard options). Some of their baked goods are quite good, however. It also could use a bit more room because sometimes it gets a bit crowded, but not much they can do about that. If they were in a bigger city Id only give 4 stars (though their tea and coffee could compete anywhere), but for Monroe its a 5 star. Definitely the best place Ive found to hang out in town.

Extremely Great Place for the people who are very picky on their coffees and Teas!!! Their tea is brewed from tea leaves and Not tea bags full of left over tea leaves dust swipe off the floors. The Coffee is roasted, grind, and brewed fresh! Most of my friends know I am Very Very hard to please on my coffees and teas....that is why I spend a few hundred on buying the best several times a year and make it at home everyday. NOW I have a place to go here in downtown Monroe and I can send my clients who are purchasing at Michaels Estate Jewelers in Monroe, MI. Thank You Sheryl, Fallon, and Tony for your introductions, coffee, and your welcoming conversations! I will see you tomorrow!!!

We absolutely LOVE this place! The atmosphere is perfect for downtown Monroe. They are dedicated to impeccable bean roasting, providing the absolute best, most pure coffee flavor. Their café mocha is fantastic, tasting like this coffee lover thinks a mocha should. Most mochas let the taste of the coffee get lost. Not the Agua Dulce Mocha. It is a coffee/chocolate lovers mocha for sure. They take their business seriously, from their extensive coffee and tea selection, to the savory snacks they offer, to the variety of other items available. They are downtown Monroe, 17 W. First St.

This is my absolute favorite coffee house! Aside from having THE BEST coffee, everyone is friendly. Youll likely see one of the owners there and probably have a conversation with them. Agua Dolce is great if you just want to grab a quick coffee to go or sit and enjoy some quiet time. They are also lucky to be conveniently located right beside a large parking lot.

This was good but not great coffee. The ambiance was charming and the staff friendly but I was disappointed after all of the great reviews to get a Starbucks grade cup of coffee. I was pleased, however, that my mocha was not too sweet and that they used whole milk instead of two percent. That was nice for taste but the espresso was just not a great flavor.

First time here the atmosphere is old fashion with a great selection of music. This is a wonderful aroma of tea and coffee in the air when you step in and the staff here are very patient and friendly with you. Definitely worth your time to check this place out! Ill be coming back here if Im around the area! Plus there is easy parking next to the building!

Very good locally roasted in season single origin coffees and a house blend. They serve nitro cold brew coffee which has incredible flavor and consistency. Highly recommend if you like iced coffee! They also have an extensive tea selection. Baked goods are very good too.

Ive been coming to this family run coffee shop for a few years now, and Ive yet to find a better cup of coffee within 50 miles including Ann Arbor. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. Agua Dolce is a real gem for Monroe and I cant support them enough.

The employees are very kind and nice here and the drinks, while expensive, are high quality and taste great. I got the iced caramel mocha and it was better than Starbucks coffee and was cheaper too. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future.

Best coffee I have had in years. When in Monroe, I will never stoop to Timmy Hoes or Starclucks again. Absolutely love the tea selections too (wife is a tea drinker). Their knowledge, and variety of coffee concoctions they have to offer as refreshing.

The antique decor really added to the experience. The fruit smoothie was good as well as the bagel. I would recommend to anyone as a cool place to visit.
