I have visited the Pet Supplies Plus stores(in Grand Rapids throughout the years and have enjoyed the friendly service and great prices. I had stopped at this store while headed back home(Norton Shores) on a shopping trip, since we dont have a store in our area.I bought crickets for my sons lizard, and Superworms-50 count.(these came from the back)When I opened the super worms I found that they were all dead and decaying!! they were hard and black in color, all dead as I previously noted and had started to decay.I cant feed those to our pet,but I feel there is no excuse for this.Live feed has to be taken care of too.There were no problem with the crickets that were out to be seen in the store, but the Superworms from the back room....terrible. I really hope we get one of these in the Muskegon area.The prices are great, and this is the only problem I have ever had.(My first time at this location) Hopefully they will send me my money back or a new container of Superworms. My assistance in the Grand Rapids stores and this store have been well.

I have been going to this store for almost 10 years now. I have 7 cats, so I need to buy big bags of cat food. Recently, last month 10/20/2013, when I was there, I noticed that there was new management. Has there been a change in how they stock the store? Why would that be? The cat food that I purchase, Chicken Soup and Science Diet for Sensitive Stomachs, was not available in the large size. The new manager agreed to sell us a smaller size bag at the big bag per oz price. This month, same thing… Now we had a coupon to use, but it was for the large bag, so still out of luck… what is going on with this store!?? Pet Supplies needs to get their act together and have available what customers want to buy or well go where what we want is available…for goodness sake!

I havent been here in a while, but use to shop here quite a bit. They have had some good sales on occasion so watch out for those. Their prices can be pretty competitive.
