We bought a couch and chair from the Cascade store. A young man by the name of Jake helped us with the couch purchase. He was so pleasant and knowledgeable. He really answered all or questions and concerns and we never felt rushed or pressured. We bought the chair a day later from Portia, again at the Cascade store. To those unfamiliar with this store, it is in two buildings. Jake was in one and Portia in the other. She too was most helpful, friendly and gracious. She was able to also answer all our questions and was most patient when we kept changing our mind about which chair most fit what we were looking for.. We may have been able to by a couch and chair at other store for less money but with that would have come much less quality. Talsmas offers us high quality furniture choices and fair competitive prices. Their staff is second to none in knowledge and listening to the needs of the customers. We will DEFINITELY shop Talsma Furniture again.

We chose Talsma due to poor customer service from other furniture stores and thinking they would be better. They told us our couch would be completed August 24th and it would take about a week to deliver after that. A week after the 24th we had yet to receive a phone call on when our couch would be delivered. We gave them a call and found out that the wrong fabric was used on our couch and they had to redo the whole thing. Our new estimated complete date is September 16th plus a week or so for delivery. I realize mistakes happen, but a phone call would have been nice. When we asked why we hadnt received a phone call with an update they shrugged it off like it was no big deal and there is nothing they can do on their end to fix the problem. This is extremely poor customer service. I will not buy anything from Talsma again and will let all of my friends and family know how terrible my experience has been.

It took us several trips to finally decide upon a style and pattern for our den furniture. Lauren, our salesperson, was incredibly patient with us, and within the first half hour had an intuition of what we were looking for. She chose several appropriate patterns for us to consider, all of which were right on target. At no time did we ever get the feeling that she was only interested in the sale, or was losing patience. Now that our four-seat couch has been delivered, complete with large ottoman, I know weve made the right decision on all of it. The quality is outstanding......so far superior to the "bargain" furniture offered by the local discount stores. Its obviously the old story: you get what you pay for. Couldnt be more true. Thanks, Lauren, for you guidance and expertise.

We had the most pleasant experience working with Talsma Furniture. Lynnae did a fantastic job helping us design our awkward living room space to provide maximum seating within our budget. She provided multiple design layouts for us to review, narrowed down color and texture options from an overwhelming selection, and captured the exact look we were trying to create. There was never any pressure to spend more than we wanted to spend, and she took no offense to our purchasing an item from a different store, even including that piece in her design layout (measurements and all). Really, the process couldnt have gone more smoothly and it was a ton of fun! We would definitely recommend Talsma to our friends.

We had a very fun experience working with Kathy. From the moment we walked in the door to the many phone calls, email and our two subsequent visits she was courteous, attentive, polite and definately not pushy ALL of which we greatly appreciated! She always allowed us to take the lead and was quietly there as support and giving suttle advice/opinions as needed. We never felt rushed. She gave us plenty of time to make decisions that we were comfortable with. This was the most pleasurable furniture shopping experience we have ever had. We are just starting to remodel our entire home and will definately be back to work with Kathy when we are ready to tackle our next phase.

My wife and I went in to look at a bed frame and dresser. The person helping us had been there 3 months but still knew almost nothing. They took nearly 20 min to find prices, then misquoted us the price, and could not tell us if there were any upcoming sales. We talked with two others behind the desk and they also knew nothing (and then went back to staring at their iPhones). Finally, someone who appeared to be a manager appeared and told us of a sale next week. No one was helpful, knew much, nor seemed to care. We finally went to the Byron Center location and it was much, much better.

We furnished our new lake cottage with Talsma furniture. We are so happy with everything we have gotten so far! Heidi Brummel was the designer we worked with and she was incredibly helpful! We had small spaces to fill and didnt really know where to start. Not only did she design each room for furniture placement, she had specific pieces to show us which made the whole process fun and got everything chosen quickly! Will definitely work with Heidi again and highly recommend her! Very professional and friendly. Always available to answer questions.

Salesperson gave us some space to look, which we appreciated, then was available to answer questions when we asked. He was able to direct us to exactly what we wanted to purchase. Service was intelligent, quick, respectful, professional and included a sense of humor which made our shopping more enjoyable. We purchased a sofa, chair and love seat after being given warranty and sale information. We will come back to this store and seek out Corey when we need additional items.

Weve been into Talsma a couple times to browse. After visiting other furniture stores and being disappointed at the apparent lack of quality, we were DELIGHTED by all that Talsma Furniture has to offer. Today, we worked with Allie and found a reclining glider that is both comfortable and funcyional and will fit our home perfectly. We would highly recommend you visit Talsma next time youre in the market for any piece of furniture.

Our first impression was very positive. When we walked in for the first time we werent bombarded by sales people. We were given plenty of space to browse, talk and make decisions. Lauren Szot was a pleasure to work with. She was patient, helpful and worked quickly to get us our proposals before a big sale ended. We ended up getting a sofa, loveseat and chair. Cant wait for them to arrive!

Last month my parents, boyfriend and I came in to look at new living room furniture. Hong Nguyen was a great help and a super nice lady! We ended up purchasing that night and love our new couch and accent chairs. We were told it would be 4-6 weeks for our couch and chairs to arrive and got the call 2 weeks later that it was in, and was delivered 2 days later. Thanks Hong!
