I went in requesting a tire rotation due to some uneven outside wear on front driver side tire with 50k on my F150. Still good tread remaining; these were 70k warrantied truck tires and rotated regularly. I asked them to look at and assess if it needed an alignment or had any broken suspension parts at that one wheel such as ball joint that may be causing this unusual wear that occurred in only the last 2k of the 50k. They call me and recommend the alignment. I say sure, fine – but please still rotate the tires as I would like the tire with the unusual outside wear on the back axle…not on the front steer wheels. They agreed. I went to pick up an hour after they called saying it was ready. Truck is still on hoist. I have to wait, they bring it out and it’s immediately obvious they didn’t rotate the tires as requested… They suggest they did rotate them (lie to my face) and then after admitting they didn’t, they say they don’t have time to get it back in today. I’m given a voucher to come back and get them rotated. I call and make an appointment the next day. I come in and have been waiting over an hour, trucks still not even in the garage, just to get my tires rotated. Figured, since they don’t value my time… I’m best off using it in their waiting room to write them this review. Listen to the other reviews – this place has Inept employees, don’t honor appointments, and lie to you - I’m worried to even have them rotate the wheels at this point. The Belle Tire down the road has much better reviews….next time…

The Absoulute worst repair shop Ive every been too , Warning Do Not Go Hear!! It took them 3 weeks to repair a fly wheel on my car , charged me 695.00 , and then when I went to pick up my car after the 3 wks they didnt even fix what I asked them to fix on my car , a simple door handel that they claim they ordered and it never came , than they wanted to charge me more money to have them re order the door handel after I waited 3 wks for a fly wheel repair . They never called me to even lett me no my car was ready to be picked up , they have horrible coustomer service , when I called to ask how the repair on my car was going everytime no one new what I was talking about , and I was put on hold more than I spoke to anyone , and had to call back numerous times . LIKE I SAID THIS IS A WARNING !! Do not go hear u will be ripped off and extremely disspointed ! I have never left a review before untill I went to this pep boys , and felt like I needed to tell people the horrible experience I had hear.

Terrible terrible service. I was visitng from out of town and my car broke down mid trip. I called two days ahead. They said if i came in early theyd repair my car that day. When i arrived they denied telling me that and refused to believe me. I had no other choice but to keep my car there since it was towed in. I needed to get home (illinois) that day and the manager Adam was cold and callous to my issue. I went to Enterprise, through my own research. At first i could not rent a car because i was underage (23) and did not have a credit card i had a debit card. After telling them my situation they told me Pep Boys usually sends people to Enterprise during the time their cars are getting repaired. But i guess for some reason the Pep Boys manger DID NOT think it was important to refer Enterprise to me!

I have been here three times and while the people in the PARTS department are professional and courteous, the REPAIR department has probably the most incompetent and unprofessional service I have EVER encountered. I went once and though it was a fluke. Second time, still the same. Third time, I had to go there for an emergency as no one else was open and close by, and still they were jerks. Slow, very slow, discourteous, LONG waits, no good explanations, changing stories on pricing... I am NOT hard to please, but the incredible lack of professionalism from the mechanics, employees, and the management is simply revolting. I work in customer service and I know its a tough job--and therefore, I know incompetence when I see it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEP BOYS IF YOU CAN.

I wanted to comment on the service I have always gotten from J. D. who works at this location. As a female, we sometimes feel that we are treated differently because people expect for us to not be knowledgeable in reference to auto issues. J. D. at Pep Boys has always put me at ease with whatever services my car needs. I always check with my Dad before I take my car in and he will check it first and give me some insight into what the mechanic should say. Not only are he and J. D. always on the same page with what is going on, J. D. makes sure that I understand everything before I agree to having the work done. He is professional, polite and is very knowledgeable and a great person to interact with. I feel that he is always honest with me about my auto needs.

Customer Service! Service manager Kevin was phenomenal. He took the time to talk with me regarding my vehicle, was not rushed, and gave me a deal that could not be beat. He is not mechanical in his demeanor or manner, but is professional & outgoing. He spoke to me in terms I could understand. He will receive my business again because of this experience. Also, Chris, the Service Tech/Sales Rep was professional and Courteous. He was well organized with his scheduling (calling a day before my appointment), upfront, & thorough. Yes, I will be back! Thank you Kevin & Chris! You represent Pep Boys well.

I had my SUV towed to the Farmington location for tire repair on my luxe broken and the mechanic drove her vehicle in the bay, and the tire rim broken off the vehicle and a control rod damage the body of my SUV. I asked for the security video and it showed everything the mechanic did wrong to damage my vehicle. Manager openly refuse to repair any or all damages. I highly do not recommend this location to anyone because the manager was unapologetic and openly lied about their responsibility with my vehicle. Please always check your vehicle before and after any service by Pep Boys mechanic.

Firstly, no one should be kept waiting for over 2 hours for one tire to get plugged. I understand its a busy time, but 2 hours is outrageous. Secondly, if you are going to hire someone as an associate for your company ensure they are trained and given the knowledge necessary to answer questions about the merchandise you sell. Asked how a person could identify a tires seasonal deficiencie and had to turn to google for my answer. Very poor experience with extremely lazy employees.

The Service Department has issues. They know their stuff and the mechanics are good but the customer experience I had was terrible. Ive been here several times for repairs, this last time I had them give me my vehicle back and I took it somewhere else. The problem is that your car will sit for hours with nobody working on it. In some instances Ive seen my paperwork completed but sitting on a desk for 15-20 minutes before anyone called my name to tell me my car was done.
