I would not recommend this place to my friends. I called them in the morning and requested information for surfing lessons for the afternoon same day. They asked me to come by. I drove 1 hr 10 minutes to reach this place. In the mean time I have a friend who called them to know how skilled we need to be in swimming. They informed that we need to be that skilled of managing our selves in the beach. Later in the after noon when we dropped by at this location, they told that they have no instructors at hand and need to book 24 hrs before for lessons. Then when we told about our phone call the lady said that she will check with any available instructors and let us know in an half hour. But with in 10 minutes they called me and said that "one of my friend told that he is not good at swimming" and cant offer the lessons to both of us. She used unprofessional language to describe the situation against us and also she hung up the call in between. Had a bad experience.

The most amazing service Ive experienced in a long time. I was reminded why to shop local. I bought a blowup paddle board last year (against his recommendations) and it broke within 3 weeks. I went back and he took care of everything. Now the end of my summer was busy and I didnt make it in time to exchange the board. I walked in 5 months later with the said broken board. Not only did Tim remember me but he exchanged my old board for an upgraded one and let me pay the difference. I cant state enough how amazing the service was.

I would say this is the best surf shop around but really its the only real surf shop around for boards and gear. Not even close- if you want a surf board, SUP, Wetsuit... whatever. Go here and dont waste your time anywhere else.

First time at the Surf Shop Cafe and what a treat! The coffee was fabulous and the organic breakfast bar/muffin was sensational. The staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely return in the near future.

Nice guys. Great sandwiches and VERY good coffee. A little pricey but definitely worth a trip. Great addition the the neighborhood so Im happy to support them. Beer and wine next door.
