There has been a sign up at the back side of the New Lancaster Rd Tractor Supply that says Propane filled at $2.79 a gallon, I noticed this sign last Thursday. So I went in this past Saturday to get a propane tank filled. After about a twenty minute wait in the line the cashier told " Oh no we can not fill that there is no one here certified." I asked for the Manager and got the Assistant Manager who said the same thing but did add that the store manager could fill it when she got back from the bank in fifteen minutes. She showed up half an hour later, glad I ran another errand... A few minutes later we went out to fill the tank, she is certified. We spent another twenty minute to no avail, she could not get it to work. She explained that that they had to hire a trainer and when he was there for the three hour training she was not as she kept getting interrupted during the training. He did give her a certificate though she could not run the contraption. They need a star for painful in the ratings as "This was painful." Two things I will suggest to help with this. One, cover the new sign mentioned above. Two, when Tractor Supply pays for someone to train their staff make sure there is enough help so the staff can learn what they need to know, please. Lets see if corporate can fix this without blaming the store staff who tried. Regards, Steve H.

Always a hello when you walk in. Very clean with helpful staff. A nice selection of items and hardware that you wont necessarily find at Lowes or Home Depot. Nice compliment to the other stores, not just for farms.
