They did a big renovation and seemed totally to lose sight of why people loved this place: an old-fashioned, quirky country store with home-made muffins and doughnuts, & lots of stuff you might need in the kitchen. Now its just another purveyor of fancy over-priced foods and wines, minus 100% of the charm. Rasta Stevie would not be pleased

Anyone who visits Marthas Vineyard MUST stop here! They have the best, freshest scones on the island. Their Zucchini Bread is to die for! Also, Jackie (store owner) is the best! They treat you like family and its just a wonderful atmosphere. Dont forget to pick up some fresh strawberries grown my Jackie herself!

Katama is a great stop on your travels through Marthas, offering hearty sandwiches and delicious coffee to fuel you. Especially great for bikers tracking along this route as it has ample bike parking.
