I cannot say enough good things about Shreve, Crump & Low at their Chestnut Hill location. From the first time that I walked in their door about three years ago, when they were called David & Company, I was treated with kindness and respect; it was clear that their staff were more interested in developing a long-term relationship with a satisfied customer than just making a simple sale. Ever since my first encounter with their wonderful, warm, and knowledgeable consultant, Jessie Barry, I have been a regular and very satisfied customer. My true love in jewelry is Art Deco pieces from the 1920s and 1930s, and I have acquired some real unique beauties from this shop. I have also purchased a number of other pieces of vintage, estate, and contemporary jewelry, with the assistance of Jessie, who has gotten to know me and my particular tastes over the past several years and continues to notify me when she finds something that might be of interest to me. The quality of the goods--which include china, crystal, and other specialty gift items besides jewels and watches--offered at Shreve, Crump & Low is always first-rate, and the owner clearly has an eye for beauty and exquisite taste. I should also mention that I have used Shreve, Crump & Low for several specialized repairs--such as the replacement an old mine-cut diamond on a cherished antique bracelet--and that they were completed on time and in expert fashion. Whether you are looking for an unusual gift, a distinctive watch, or a unique item of jewelry, you will find kind and expert assistance and excellent quality always at Shreve, Crump & Low in Chestnut Hill.

Shreve, Crump and Low has always stood for quality and craftsmanship for my family since my father bought my mother a beautiful engagement ring and wedding band there in 1955. My mother wore her wedding band for almost 60 years until, thinned by use and time, it slipped from her finger last month. Thanks to the kindness and care of Jessie Barry of the Chestnut Hill store, who worked with my mother on duplicating her ring and its inscription as closely as possible, my mother now has a new ring that is as stunningly beautiful as the original and that she loves almost as much. Thank you Shreve, Crump and Low and Ms. Barry, for continuing to care not only for your craft but for the happiness of your customers.

My husband and I recently went into SC&L in Chestnut Hill. We met Jessie. I wanted a new setting for my wedding ring diamond along with a 5 diamond banwasd my mother had willed to me. Not really knowing much about jewelry, Jessie suggested making a band with 5 of the diamonds. The largest in the center and the 4 placed placed on either side. It is a combination of platinum and yellow gold. She set up the order with the jewelry artist to make a beautiful band with 5 diamonds. It was absolutely beautiful. She was very caring and organized. Everything was done with lots of care. If I had to do it over again, I would definitely go there and ask for Jesse.

My experience with Shreve at the Chestnut Hill location is nothing short of phenomenal. My fiancé worked with Jessie to pick out the perfect engagement ring for us. Jessie is incredibly kind, dedicated to her work, and she went above and beyond even after our engagement to help make sure the ring was perfectly resized in just a few short days. I cannot say enough good thing about everyone at Shreve - all so kind and professional. Thanks for making our engagement so special!

I went here in search of some help getting an engagement ring. I didnt know much about the process but Eric was very helpful in explaining everything to me. He took the time to show me the differences between diamonds and settings. I was in the store on multiple occasions and he was patient with me while I tried to make a decision. We ended up going with a custom setting that my fiance absolutely loves. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know, great experience!

We had a wonderful experience at the Chestnut Hill Shreve Crump and Low. Jessie was incredibly accomodating and helpful in helping my now fiance find a very special engagement ring. It was gorgeous and timeless...something that can be passed down through the generations. She sent photos of many different styles, had rings sent from other stores and sized it down just in time for our trip to Bhutan where he proposed in the "land of happiness"

I had a fantastic experience buying my engagement ring at Shreve, Crumb & Low. They have a large collection of options and I ended up choosing a beautiful antique ring which was purchased at an estate sale. The staff is incredibly helpful and professional. Whenever my wife swings by they buff up the ring for free to make it even shinier. You cant go wrong at Shreve Crump & Low.

I had a very specific idea about how I wanted my engagement ring to look and Jessie Barry, at the Chestnut Hill store, was able to help me put together a setting that I loved, with the cut of diamond I wanted. My boyfriend (now fiance) was able to go in and order exactly what I wanted and now its sparkling away on my finger. Thanks again, Jessie!

West to the Chestnut Hill store to purchase pearls for an add a pearl necklace. The saleswoman couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. Would definitely recommend this location
