Ive bought about a 1/2 dozen pieces from this place and have never really had a problem until today. I went in and found a cool little glow in the dark pipe as a gift for a friend.. I take it home and sit it under a light for an hour and it does nothing. I called the store hoping to see if i could return it and they told me that they ordered them that way so they must glow in the dark. I dont think its outside the realm of reason to have a defective item. She also told me that I have to return it by close or I was out of luck. This store has a same day return policy. I live 4 hours away and stopped in because I enjoyed shopping at the store. The girl on the phone told me that even though the item was not as described I still could not return after the end of the business day. The refund policy is not shown in the store. its only shown on the receipt after they have your money. They have nice pieces, but buyer beware. I would continue to shop here if they had a reasonable return policy, It just seems foolish to purchase a $100+ item like all the bongs on the wall with no way to get my money back if its defective.

Ive always enjoyed this place until they sold me a defective product (small crack unnoticed until filled with water). Unlike most places, they refused to accept an exchange. I didnt even ask for a refund, just to exchange for the same product in functioning form. Unfortunately they refused. Tried speaking to the manager and I was told I was already speaking to her. So this policy is directly from management, not from an unknowledgeable employee. I cannot recommend this place as you have no recourse when they give you a broken product. Your best course of action is to go somewhere else, or demand that each product you buy be fully demonstrated in store before you buy. Sorry. I really did like this place :(

Just scroll down and look at all the 1/5 star reviews which would probably be 0/5 if it was possible. Everything I buy there for glass is a waste of money, they wont take returns if its broken and if u look carefully at it before u buy it, they look at you like you are insane. Only will go there for vape pen cartridges. The employees are mostly all stoned idiots that will give you the wrong item that you ask for or just answer yes or no to a question they really dont know, just to not look like they dont know, or to end the conversation faster. Just go to another smoke shop.

Nothing like advertised, lots of pipes, a bit on the expensive side, as far as vapes not much to choose from. Disappointing visit, glad I looked around. I did buy 3 vapes and 3 coils individually, the attendent sold me the wrong coils and there are no returns. So be more careful than me. Cause you may be sold items that dont work together. Hope my regular shop has attachments for what was purchased at Northern Lights.

really want to like this place because its so damn convenient.. but the 3 or 4 times ive bought tobacco there, its been totally dried out. (for those who dont know, it comes in a sealed package, and if its dried out it means its a million years old). glass is nothing special. the staff is nice. thats about the only thing i can say about this place thats not bad. drive the extra two miles downtown.

Anyone who hates on a head shop should consider what they do before making a bad review. Head shops are under constant scrutiny and are under a lot of pressure and should not be criticized. Especially one like this. Theyre just trying to get a product out to the people like any business and this head shop certainly is not bad at that.

Great place great people! Not sure why people are complaining about return policy, I dont know of many glass shops with even a basic return policy... You have the option to see, handle, and even try the function on the glass youre about to buy... Anyway, its a dope place!
