I went to Cracker Barrel on 7/5/2014 with my parents. It took 45-50 minutes to receive what food they did have ready to be placed in front of us. Pancakes were ordered and they were burned. I know why they were burned it took 45 minutes to receive the freaking order. The next item was the Old Timers Breakfast. The eggs were overcooked. Where they were suppose to have a liquid center it was completely solid as if the cook just doesnt know how to cook eggs. The last item was the Biscuits and Gravy. Now this item we didnt receive. Would you like to know why...well because THEY HAD NO FREAKING GRAVY READY AND IT WOULD TAKE A FREAKING HOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell me is that good business sense. I am being completely serious. Because to me if you open for breakfast then ALL BREAKFAST ITEMS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I cancelled that order and got a fruit bowl that had 3 pineapple chunks, 4 strawberry halves, and 7 blueberries. The fruit was old and shriveled up. It wasnt edible. I ended up going to Wal-Mart behind your restaurant to get a suitable fruit bowl. The waitress on the other hand was rude and it felt like she just didnt want to be there. She always slammed down the drinks (spilling the drinks) and slamming the plates to almost breaking them. This is horrible. This is the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to and since it is the only one closest to me then I wont be going back. It was horrible from the time we sat down to the time we got up!!!!!!!!!!!! The shift manager wouldnt even show his face to the customers. Want to know why I know that well I overheard him say he wouldnt. Seriously since you wont have a decent restaurant here just shut it down. This one sucks.

Me my husband and mother came to this restaurant today to eat supper they had this guy training for manager working the floor he came and took our drink order so then we was getting ready to tell him what we wanted to eat and he walked away this White couple came and set down we thought maybe he was going to the kitchen to get drinks but he went to the white people table and got there drinks and food and we still sitting there with no drinks or food he better be glad that I had God in me .... Its soooo sad that some people are still tripping about serving black people but 9 out of 10 we reason yall are open the only reason yall got one star is because it want let you post but I give yall nothing its very sad that one bad apple mess up the rest of the employees .....And we came there every Friday and Saturday but never again I can take my money somewhere else ... yall have lost good business from me.... and with him in there you will loose some more if you keep him ....Cracker barrel off pines Road in Shreveport, Louisiana...Just sad

Orlando, our server was wonderful! Kaitlynn, the hostess VERY RUDE. I watched her seat several other people incase it was just a onetime uh oh. It wasnt. She took clients to table with sour face, not speaking and walking away from each table as though she wanted nothing to do with being there. The dust was enough to make me not want to eat there. My Honey was the reason I stayed. The dust alone on the fire place could have started a small garden. The dust and cobwebs on the deer head is going to take someone some serious time to clean. Pictures are of what I ordered on menu and what I actually received. I am very pleased with the food. I did speak with manager about all the dust especially over the hostess station. He knew about it and said that he would call to get someone in to clean the high places. No reason was given as to why it was in that shape or why he had not called someone to come in earlier.

Corporate needs to come whip this store into place. We waited over 20 minutes for a table only to see about 10 that were empty needing to be cleaned. Our waitress didnt even introduce herself, was EXTREMELY unfriendly as well. Got a refill on drinks once, had to ask another waiter for some jelly to which his response was "Who is your waitress, I am really busy." My mom didnt get her hashbrown casserole - we were told it would be a few more minutes. She had finished everything before finally getting the hashbrown casserole. Then the hashbrown casserole had something odd in it - cleaner, unclean pan reused- SOMETHING. It was AWFUL. We told the waitress to which she simply said oh no and rolled her eyes as she walked away. Reporting this store to corporate. I have never had such an awful experience at a CBOCS (I live 20 minutes from the original store!)

I work at store 289 in St. Augustine, FL. So, for me to leave a review of another Cracker Barrel is saying a lot. Our waitress, Celeste, was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and overall a pleasure to be around. My boyfriend and I were passing through coming from New Mexico back home and we were tired and ready to stop to find a hotel and every person we talked to in the resturant really made us smile and it was really nice. Not to mention it was around 8:45, so close to closing time, and no one even acted like it was. The manager spoke to us as well and he was extremely pleasant and genuine with conversation. Overall, the best Cracker Barrel Ive been to service wise, and Ive been to many of them!!! Would definitely go back if we pass through Shreveport again.

Not impressed with this location took awhile to be seated because all the tables were dirty. When we got a food it was missing one of the sides and when we asked the waiter said oh we are out of that side but didnt offer us a substitute. Then we had to ask for refills and he brings us the bill and waits on a few tables before the drinks get filled. We had to ask several times for biscuits and we get cornbread. The walking out of the dinner room we had to walk over a pile of trash that someone swept up but did not pick up. The bathroom was dirty and the cashier didnt ask us how it was which is a good thing because I would still be there. I will say the food was good. They just need a manager to get things straight.

It took an hour & five minutes to get my call in order which i was told that it would be 15-20 mins. I spoke with the store manager & the kitchen manager. Finally my order comes out I decided to check it in front of the store manager. I didnt have my complete order so I had to wait for the rest of my order. After waiting all that time & spending about $50 for food. Everything was burnt & cold. They had the audacity to put the food up on the good side but underneath all of our pancakes were burnt, the steak was burnt, & lets not forget about that ridiculous bacon. After all that wait I didnt get any discount or apologies just "Your order is on the way out". Never again will they get my $.
