I was absolutely shocked by customer service at Home Depot. I received very rude service, second thought I received no service. I went in on a Monday, it wasnt even busy. I was in lumber trying to find some 4x6 so I asked a gentlemen named Paul for help. He says he was going to call someone for help so I waited 10 minutes with my wife and two daughters. I then see him at the cashier desk talking with another man named Eric. I asked again loud and clear and Paul makes eye contact nods his head. So I waited another 10 minutes, my wife, daughters and I were very tired at this point. I then see Paul again, and we make eye contact and it seem she forgot about us. At this point I do not seek to shop here anymore so I made sure I got Pauls name and the he was talking to him because I do not think this is acceptable. I can only imagine the amount of other people that he has done this too. I was also told he was a "Lumber Supervisor" which I hope he isnt because if he is Home Depot sure is headed in the wrong way as far as customer service which is most important. I will never again shop at Home Depot again.

Short story: Sales Guy was an idiot. Tried to sell me something I didnt want and it cost less than what I did want. How dumb do you have to be to talk someone out of a bigger comssion? Long Story: Ok, first of all understand that I communicate very directly. Told the guy I wanted a 30 gallon electric water heater with a 12 year warranty, but Id noticed that one wasnt available for sale. However there was one with a 9 year warranty available for special order, how much is that I asked. The idiot proceeds to try to convince me that I dont need a 9 or 12 year warranty because its all just a bunch of bull. I explain how its not bull as Consumer Reports tore them all apart and found that the 9 and 12 gallon heaters have larger heating elements and better insulation. But the guy wouldnt let up. He kept trying to sell me a heater that they had in stock yet wasnt what I wanted to buy. So I did the best thing you can do to a crappy sales guy, I didnt buy from him. Now, Ill give the store a 2 overall because it isnt as bad as this dufus, but its still not a very good store.

Mi esposa tiene su tarjeta de Home Deport, por éso me siento seguro pues si llegáramos a tener un problema en casa no tendríamos de que preocuparnos Olvidaba tienen personas profesionales instalando puertas, ventanas..personas de mí edad muy gratas y dan buenos concejos Es todo. I am not a happy customer in the last year I have had 1 bad experience at this store after another.Starting with I am disabled and fell in there store and they left me lying on the floor,customers had to help me up while 4 employees stood around and watched. Then I purchased appliances and have entered into a warranty nightmare. Oh yes and getting a handicaps vehicle to ride in is many times impossible for they bury them behind returns and do not keep them charged.As a Cancer survivor who went thru a lot of pain dealing with this store has been just as painfulThis makes me very sad and I have cried way to much over all of this and maybe the next item I need should be purchased somewhere else The one person there that has been good is Bill in appliances for he is why I bought my appliances there to begin with ,for he is knowledgeable and very nice .But he is not responsible for how this store is run.

Awful, awful experience. We bought a bunch of blow-in insulation and took advantage of the free blower machine rental. We understandably had to put down a $250 deposit for it. Now it is 6 days later, and despite returning the machine the same day, we have not received our deposit back due to an issue with their computer system. Three phone calls and two visits to the store, and the issue is still not resolved. Last night we were told a manager would speak with us. We waited 20+ minutes for a manager to bother to show up, then we waited another 30+ minutes while he was on the phone with IT support. Of course, at the end of this, no actual progress had been made. We will never do business here again...clearly this is a place where customer service is not a priority at all, and they are more than willing to make THEIR problems YOUR problems.

Nearly impossible to get anyone to assist me. Mostly the employees - if I happen to catch one - will send me to someone else or just point to an aisle where I might find what you need. Then if I am fortunate enough to find what I need it is packaged up with a bunch of stuff I dont need for a price I dont want to pay. I can see this Home Depot from my house but I gave up on them after the 20th time of lousy customer service, packaging that makes me purchase way more than I want and poorly made products. Try Mack hardware in Mission - its not much further and they can actually help you find what you need and even offer advice if you ask for it.

Went into the Merriam Home Depot store and purchased Martha Stewart patio furniture set. The table and chairs were in stock along with the two chairs and end table. The matching glider was to be delivered in two to three days. It was delivered in seven, incomplete, no hardware, no instructions, upon contacting Home Depot they said it would be two weeks for the parts. I explained to them that this was given as a gift and asked if we could return it and them ship us another one. First they said we would have to take it to a local store to resolve the problem and then they said they had no more available. Home Depot, service none.

I was there to purchase a garden hose and nozzle. I then came to check out at the register only to find out the price on the computer was different from the shelf. I told the lady it was $15.47 where I grabbed it from the and she said "well my computer said it was $29.99". I felt that it was kind of rude of her to not even try to see is it was the right price or not or even try to help me at all. So I told her I dont want it if it was not the right price and Ill get it from somewhere else. All she said was "okay". I just felt as my business wasnt wanted there.

Run in the store often, since I work in the merriam shopping center. I have noticed for awhile you cant really find anyone to help if you need it. Lacks alot in customer service, it was 9am today they were doing a huddle and after they were done everyone just walked away not one person said hi good morning or anything.. the store manager still stood thier talking to someone didnt even acknowledge any as they walked by him even when he looked at them ... just observations since I work retail and manage myself..
