I have been a long time customer of Sephora and shop exclusively with them for all of my beauty products. I shop primarily at Valley West Mall and was ecstatic when Sephora was added several years back. The service has really declined in the last year. The staff is rude, inexperienced and unwilling to provide a solution to anything!!!! Several times Ive went to purchase an item and theyve been out. When I ask for a sample to get me by, they act annoyed. Theyre never willing to give out samples which I think it strange since I am a VIB Rouge member and nearly always end up purchasing the item I sampled. Lately, I keep getting my card in the mail to come in for my free sample. Each time I go in, they tell me they are sold out and to come earlier and never offer me an alternative. Yesterday I went to the store with my card(approximately 4 days after the promo started) and she told me they hadnt received them yet and to come back in a week or so. It seems like they dont have the item rather I come early or not and use it as a ploy to get me into the store. I had planned on purchasing a contouring kit, foundation and Dior Mascara. She was so rude and unhelpful I ended up just leaving. The products are very expensive and a luxury for most. Customer Service and loyalty should be important but it obviously isnt;. Ulta, here I come!

El personal es ineficiente, entré a la tienda y nadie se acerca para ayudar, duré alrededor de 10 a 12 minutos viendo y queria ayuda para comprar un maquillaje, pero nadie se acercó a ofrecer la ayuda, me salí y me fui a younkers y compré mi maquillaje, la segunda vez que se me ocurrió entrar la chica que me atendió era muy seria, no me sonrió no me saludo, pienso que si necesitan entrenar mejor al personal, y escribo todo esta opinión en español,por que al igual que yo existen muchas personas hispanas que compramos en esta tienda,so deben de saber que tambien tienen muchas clientas latinas que tambien usamos sus productos.

Ive had 4 bad experiences with this Sephora each time I have called customer service for the manager to just offer me things to come back that is not the problem the issue is your girls dont like to help customers they sit and talk or do their makeup I have read the other reviews and I am too having the same issue with NO one helping or even so much speaking to me I am a dancer and use a lot of makeup and I enjoy good makeup but when you go here it is hard to get any when they wont even help I started going through drawers last time it is such a bad experience here but I will try one last time ... but Mac hit it on the spot so thats my go to if this doesnt work

I walked in with my little sister and we were looking for a specific palette and highlighter. No one spoke to us. We were in there just looking around seeing if we could find it while one girl was stocking something near us and neither spoke to us or asked if we needed any help. The other girl was ringing customers out, but after she was finished with that she came over and finally spoke to us and asked if we needed any help after about 15 minutes of us being in there and being ignored.

Such a great experience!!! Very helpful staff, knowledgeable and happy to help!!! Far better experience then Jordan creek will continue my sephora shopping at valley west from now on!!

Just as good as a regular sephora just downsized. A bit less selection.
