Needed to buy 14 kegs for my wedding, called the number on the website and was told to call another number. Called the second number and was told I needed to call back in one hour so I could talk to the owner, called back in 60 minutes and the owner had left for the day. Never had I worked so hard to spend so much money.

This is the ONLY place to go for a truely diverse selection of all calibers of spirits. No matter your price range or your immediate need, these guys are the one stop shop of Des Moines. Not to mention the service is top notch. I typically dont shop for scotch anywhere else. Ever. Two thumbs way up.

I appreciate all the help from everyone at Central City Liquors. I bought a bottle of Blantons for a client all the way from Atlanta. Without even batting an eye they hand delivered the bottle to his house and even wrote a personal note for me. Yall rock and again thanks for all the help!

False advertising, I wont be back. Was in the store today and purchased a bottle. The gentleman running the register knew the customer in front of me and offered him the 10% discount for purchase with cash. I also paid cash but was not given this option. Id recommend sticking to Hy-Vee

Central City Liquor has an incredible selection and a very knowable staff. Rarely do I ever come out with what I intended to buy because the staff steers me to sometime better or a better value. Bring your cash and they will give you a discount.

Best selection of single malts in the area but definitely need to take advantage of the cash discount to make prices reasonable/competitive. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

They have the best prices. Better than ingersoll liquors. Premium liquors discounted by 40%. Spent way more than I should because of the sales. Worth it though.
