Issue-Pantry moths!!! I have been shopping at Centsible Discount Market since shortly after they opened and have been a regular customer. When we go we buy a lot of food and stock up. I have told many people about it and have always had good things to say about this store. It has helped stretch our budget and I would say 90% of the expired food we have bought has been good enough to consume. We have had some issues several times, until their issues are resolved I do not think we can go back there. The issue is pantry moths...also known as weebles or indianmeal moths. They are small moths that like to feed on grains, cereal, pasta, rice, baking mixes as well as sweets.1 adult female can lay hundreds of eggs in a week or two. We have bought cereal from Censtible that has never been opened with moths inside the plastic bag. I have found them in pasta and rice mixes. I have had to throw away lots of food and scrub out my pantry to get rid of them a couple times before. A few weeks ago we bought 2 banana boxes of instant oatmeal. We have eaten a ton of the oatmeal, usually a box per day. I noticed some moths and went downstairs to where we had kept the large box and there were tons of adult pantry moths in the box and all around this container. At least 30 moths likely more. I opened up 1 box and inspected the oatmeal packets, you could see clusters of eggs/larva and small holes in the instant packets. There is just NO way that the owners or staff running this store is not aware that they have an infestation of pantry moths. It is bad business practice to knowingly sell food like this. I really have been so happy to support this store but I cannot continue to do so until I know they have resolved this issue.

We were very disappointed in this store. Milk was full-priced and many of the other items were not discounted 50% or more--as was advertised. Very little product on the shelves also. I would not make a drive to go there---if you drive right by it---you might find something there that is worth your stop. The entire time we were there we never saw any store personnel---no one acknowledged our presence or asked if we needed help, there was no one at the cash register.

Awesome store and people. I cant get enough of it. Always lots of treasures! The 35 cent marshmallows made great rice crispie treats tonight and while it is possible to get bread for less than 99 cents, their bread is the super healthy good bread for 99 cents. Thank you Centsable for feeding our family so reasonably and creating comfort in our budget.

Excellent prices and selection with wonderful people. Many items such as coffee, cereals, soups, and mixes are a quarter the cost youd see elsewhere. Bread is consistently 99 cents. This store really is a hidden gem.

This little secret is an amazing find. They have loads of food that is dented of expired, but still good for consumption at discounted prices. Imagine Starbucks Coffee and half price. Everything is a deal!
