I was in need of an eye/contact exam so I decided to give All About Eyes a try. Let me tell you..... I will never go anywhere else! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with friendly, happy faces! There are nice selection of frames and the prices are great! The waiting area is warm, and welcoming. Dr. Neumann is very thorough and friendly. He takes the time to answer questions and make sure your comfortable before you leave. Caryn assisted me with processing insurance and payment and she is such a joy to work with as well. Caryn is very friendly and explained all the details perfectly! This is how offices should be ran, give them a try and you wont be disappointed! Side note: I previously went to Americas Best and received the worst customer service and treatment from the doctor there ( they gave me a script that was too strong for my eyes because the doctor was in a rush to leave and start his vacation he was on for the next week!) My experience with All About Eyes was spectacular and I appreciate that they treat customers so well!

We just had a few amazing appointments today, for my 2 Children, ages 9 and 5 . This was a first time, eye exam for my 5 year old and (unfortunately- due to lack of knowledge on my part) only the 2nd exam for my 9 yr. old. Just moving here a few months ago, we had called a few places before deciding on "All About Eyes" After the extra care, patience, and what really felt like a very thorough eye exam (especially in comparison w/ other companies in our past) I left today, without breaking the bank and I have also scheduled another appointment for me!!! Very affordable (I have no vision insurance) They are great with children, and the Dr. explained a few technical things to me, without looking at me like I was an idiot....(which may possibly be "common sense" to most :-) example- why dilate the eye? Do you know? well, I do- lol! I Highly recommend this place (probably most locations will be great) Also the young woman who helps with appts, payments etc was So sweet and personable! icing on top the cake!

I can not say enough about how wonderful my experience was with All About Eyes. I woke up Saturday morning to find that my 5 month old puppy had chewed up my only pair of glasses. Being almost blind in one eye and the fact that I work on a computer all day I was in desperate need of a new pair of glasses quickly. I drove to All About Eyes first and then left to shop around to other places. Even though they would not be able to get me glasses the same day I felt that they had the better deal so I went back. The staff there was very helpful and friendly and they put a rush on my order. I had to work three days without glasses which put such a strain on my eyes and gave me a headache almost everyday. The staff came through as promised with a rush on my order and I was able to pick up at least one pair tonight. It feels so good to see again and the glasses fit just right. Thanks again for following through with the rush and the great price that I received on two pairs of glasses!

I called Sunday afternoon to set up an eye exam for Monday after work. My glasses broke and I needed to get in as soon as possible so I could update my prescription and order a new pair of glasses. Dr. Neumann was very kind, professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable with him and his staff as soon as I walked in the door. After my exam I began looking for new frames. Will, the manager, was a total rock star and he went above and beyond to help me find not only one - but two pairs - of frames that looked great on me. He was honest, helpful and sincere. He is a true example of what a manager should be like! Dr. Neumann told him that I needed a rush on my new glasses - and he did just that - at no extra charge! Talk about awesome! This place is truly a gem in Cedar Rapids. I will be referring all my friends and family to All About Eyes. If you are looking for a place to have an eye exam and find new glasses - then this is THE place to go! Top notch!

This business is a train wreck. They couldnt of done more to be unhelpful. I strongly recommend you go anywhere else. If you like being frustrated and treated like you dont matter, this is the place for you. If you look at the other reviews they seem to excel at selling glasses. I cant speak to that but I can tell you they dont excel at giving you your prescription. They held my prescription hostage after I paid for my appointment wanting me to return multiple times so they could try and force different contacts on me. After I put my foot down and got my prescription I tried to buy contacts from a different business. At that point they denied my prescription so I couldnt buy else where. They called to tell me they could undercut that companies price. I dont believe this is the way to run an honest business. This was a clear attempt to railroad another company and it cost me more of my time to fix their snafu.

I initially stopped by AAE to help pick up glasses for my brother, but wound up staying for an exam myself. They got me in last minute, right away, and it was one of the most thorough eye exams Ive ever had. The OD certainly knows what he is doing. Choosing the frames was difficult /only/ because the selection is so broad! I was not pressured into purchasing anything in particular and they let me take my time to browse. The assistant manager Will was incredibly helpful with selecting lenses and explaining the different options offered. I ordered my glasses on a Thursday and they were ready for pick up the following Tuesday -- I was not expecting them to be done so soon! All About Eyes offers great deals, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hours are convenient. I will definitely be referring people to AAE from now on.

My husband and I had the best customer service experience ever at AAE. It starts with the eye exam- amazing, and so thorough! I was immediately impressed. Once I was completed with my exam I began reviewing the glasses available. I was not followed or pressured, they let me browse. Once I needed assistance it was as if they could read me, very professional and personable staff. Unique was my assistant, I cannot say anything to let you know how fun and knowledgeable she is- you must visit her! And the rest! I have told all my friends about my experience and I hope they all choose to try All About Eyes next time. Wonderful!!!!!!!!!

I went into All About Eyes looking for my first pair of prescription glasses and I was pleasantly surprised by the infinite choices of frames that they carry. Will, the assistant manager was very helpful and spent quite some time with me trying to find the perfect pair of glasses. Will gives great customer service & buying my first pair of glasses was a great experience. I had some questions the next day so I called them in the morning and went into talk to Will after I got off work and he was very accommodating. Thanks Will for everything. I will definitely recommend All About Eyes to anyone I know looking for glasses.
