TJ Maxx used to be my favorite store. I shop there approximately 3 times per week, and purchase a large part of my families belongings from TJ Maxx. A couple months ago, I noticed the Kokomo store was starting to look VERY unorganized. You could not walk down an aisle without stepping on a fallen piece of clothing. All walkways were cluttered with tables full of discounted merchandise that was out of its packages and scattered all about the table. Today was the last straw. I was there about an hour ago to exchange some things I had purchased 4 days ago for the correct sizes and then purchase additional merchandise on top of that. My family found some merchandise they liked and as we were going to check out, my sons babysitter called and we needed to pick our son up asap. The checkout line was very long, there was 4 associates in the store that I could see, but only one person as cashier. I found a TJ Maxx sales representative (I also think this person was some type of manager) and I kindly explained the situation to them and asked if they could just put the merchandise on hold until I could return later today and purchase it. The sales associate told me "No, you need to go purchase the items or put them back." THOSE WERE HER EXACT WORDS!!!!!!! I am not exaggerating in any way. I USED to shop at TJ Maxx alot. Not anymore. I have been an Assistant Manager in a retail establishment for 4 years and I have NEVER seen such an unorganized store, or an employee (who was possibly management) turn away a very loyal employee. So I am throwing away the clothing I needed to exchange there, and I will NEVER spend another dime at TJ Maxx.

TJ Maxx is always the place to find great deals on designer brands! However they are often flawed in some way, as I have seen Levis that do not have the back tag printed. Overall, TJ Maxx is a great place to get great deals!
