Absolute trash employees at Kokomo, Indianas Best Buy. So I went to LOOK at keyboards when I noticed a box was open, I figured maybe the others can open too so I can get the feel for a keyboard I wanted. It didnt open so I left it alone. Then two employees came out of nowhere and said "can I help you?" I said "no just looking at keyboards." Then the other employee said "dont open the boxes" as if I where a five year old, Im 16 and Im pretty sure if there is a keyboard I can take out of the box and steal it, it would be pretty hard to get past the guy in the front. I replied with " it was already open just looking since you guys cant take care of your products and its pretty harmless." ( I wasnt even rough with the boxes)They eventually split up into 2 following me and my younger brothers around the whole place out to the parking lot. It made me and my younger brothers feel very uncomfortable in an open area. I wish I had said something to these rude employees but I kept my ground and walked out, being stalked. This was a BIG violation of my privacy and I declare this as slander and harassment against minors. Wish I could sue...

I feel that the wait time on the phone is too long. I recently purchased an item that included geek squads installation service. I tried to get a hold of a employee from the auto department at this store yesterday and no one was in. Why would they be off on Tuesdays? I have no idea... Today I have been continuously calling this store to try and get an appointment scheduled, not one person has answered... I have been waiting for thirty minutes. On the second note with the item I purchased. I purchased the item for pickup at the store. When I visited the geek squad page to schedule an appointment, it wouldnt let me, and told me that this place was experiencing a high volume and I would have to wait two weeks. That is the reason I am on the phone and not ONE person has picked up so I can try and schedule this appointment. Why would Best Buy sell an item including the purchase of installation service.. Which was well over a hundred dollars.. Just to let me know that I couldnt make an appointment? This is quite stupid if you ask me. I demand a refund if I am not getting what I paid for!

I purchased a kids tablet for Christmas. Took it in in May to be fixed they said it was the cord and order a new one. Cord came and it was wrong one. So went back in and they order another one. Cord came and tablet still did not work. May 25 they took tablet and told me June 2 I would have tablet back. June 5 came no tablet June 10 came no tablet June 20 came no tablet and so Geek Squad manager tells me if not here by end of month they would replace for free. July 6 comes no tablet and they tell me I have to pay $50 to replace it since UPS lost it. I said no you shipped it you deal with UPS and do as you said and give me tablet. Well today the 7th and no tablet and cooperate will not help any because its up to the store to make decision. So I paid for a tablet and the extended warranty and yet sit here and still have no tablet. They blame UPS and UPS shows it was delivered and signed for at Best Buy. So they are not replacing it and Best Buy says I have to pay the $50 which is 100% wrong.

Store is to be as expected, but once in a while you get an employee who doesnt know quite as much abt a product as maybe he/she should. Have had Geek Squad employees misdirect family members before. Maybe this was to get them to unnecessarily spend extra money. My husband has extensive technology knowledge so I usually ask him before anyone else & we usually do not get Geek Squad protection on an item. Most recently we bought a game system with a game & a smart watch. The associate who checked us out informed us that they were out of large bags for our purchases. He asked if we were ok just carrying the larger items out of the store. I would have liked the bag, but he made no effort to go get any more from stock area or even steal one from another register. What if I was by myself with those three items? I wouldnt have been able to carry them without a bag. Besides the bag snafu it was a decent experience.

I would have given them an 1/8th of a star if I could have. I called and asked them if they had windows 10 with an installation disk or flash drive. the girl walked back and said yep. I asked again about install drive she said yep, I am looking right at it. I drive an hour to find out their is no installation flash or disk. I currently have xp so I am not able to install windows 10 with out an install disk or flash drive. I had to explain this to the geek squad 3 times before they understood that XP cant download. So I asked them since I drove an hour on misinformation. If I purchased windows 10 product key and a disk or flash drive if they could download me an windows ISO download on either a disk or drive that I purchased. They said that it couldnt be done. After I explained to them that it could be done they wanted to charge me $40.00 to download a free install drive. These guys are a joke.

Was sold a keyboard case for my ipad by a sales rep who said that it was "top of the line." After a week it no longer worked so I went to the store to return it. The Customer Service Representative convinced me to just swap it out for a new one instead of returning it also assuring me that it was a quality case. After 1 more month of use it no longer worked so I attempted to replace the batteries and do everything I could to fix it myself. After nothing worked I found that this was a lost cause and attempted to return the case for the second time. They no longer carry the case and since I had passed the 15 day return policy there is nothing that they could do. This company does not look out for the customer. Do not trust the sales reps recommendations and do not purchase products from this company.

took a computer tower and laptop in to have serviced,weds march 20,just picked my laptop up on the 25th .They only took a couple of viruses off and when I got it home I noticed the USB plug for my mouse was gone. I called the store and she told me it wasnt there,Realllly, my mouse and mouse pad was in the case but no UBS plug for it.Im 100 percent sure it was there when i took it in.She took my number and told me shed call me if they found it,HAHAHA right.Oh and the tower still 2 to 3 more days.Never again will i go there or buy any thing from best buys.

i cannot describe how disappointed and how poor the service was at this store. Talked to an Alicia who was rude, unhelpful, and extremely uninformed about any service. Bought a new LG washer and dryer. Delivery man came without the correct part and told us we could drive 120 mile round trip to exchange the part ( the closest store is 60 miles away). Just what I wanted to do after a days work is drive two hours to fix a Best Buy screw up.
