I have been a longtime customer of Rachael since 2008.I first went to her when she was working at Genuine Tattoo (Bloomington IN), the place where she learned her trade.then a few years later, I followed her when she went down to Louisville, Kentucky.Now,after years of paying her dues, Rachael finally has a shop of her own. When I say that Rachael is the real deal, I say this as an experienced customer.I have a body suit with 90% coverage.Ov that work, well over half has been done by Rachael.My back,sleeves, butt and a good part of my legs are tattooed by Rachael.Good, CLEAN lines.Quality inks and artistic know how. she was taught by Shannon Simpson at Genuine tattoo(Bloomington IN).Shannon himself was a student of the late Charlie Wheeler(Louisville KY). Rachael learned from a master who himself learned from a master tattooer. This lineage is evident in the quality of Rachaels work.She has years and years of tattooing under her belt.Through them, Rachael has consistently produced high quality tattoos.My early tattoos by Rachael look great as do her newer additions. Rachel is adept as many different styles of tattooing.Personally, I favor bold traditional tattoos.However, I have seen plenty of great work that she has done that are in a completely different vein.High standards permeate all of her work, no matter the style. She is extremely knowledgeable about tattoo placement, working together existing tattoos, transforming ideas into something that "works" as a tattoo.Rachael cares about how a tattoo will look and takes the time to tell the customer what works and what doesnt. Her advice has always been on the mark. The Prices at Castle City tattoo are fair and consistent with the QUALITY of the work that is done.Your wallet will not be raped, however, her prices are reflective of the excellent work she produces.If budget is a concern, she will be happy to discuss legitimate options, such as tattoo size, placement etc. Go to Castle City Tattoo with confidence.You will leave with tattoos that will stand out, whether you are in Indiana or LA.
