While the artists put on the show that they are professional and dedicated, do not believe it! I had the most unfortunate experience of hiring an artist by the name of Caleb. I showed him a picture, and he sounded excited, and eager to do it. I showed up at the time he told me to, he was not ready, and I ended up being there for over 5 hours. the tattoo was about 6 inches in diameter, had no detail, and looked like a blob of ink instead of a dragon. After 5 hours, (when he said the job would take 3), he told me to call him back in a week so he could finish. I thot that was kosher, so I gave him the $300 he asked for, plus a $100 tip. After a week I tried to reach him, and he dodged my call. After trying for another week, hearing, "i will call you back" I was finally told he left town...and wouldnt be back till June. Now I have to pay another artist to finish the work. The owner didnt give a damn. I will never let them touch me again.

I was rejected by a previous tattoo shop in the same area because they were all booked up. The woman told me everything I wanted wouldnt work in a very rude way. I think she had some bias against me because I am only 17. When I went to Nightingale Tattoo, we did have to wait for a bit because the only people there were tattooing but they were very welcoming and friendly. The guy I talked to (I dont remember his name) was super cool and told me my tattoo idea was great (I got "scripturient" on my inner arm near my elbow. I was going to get it on my wrist but its too small.) The tattoo artist I talked to switched out with Bryan, the guy who did my tattoo, and he did a fantastic job. All in all, I would recommend coming here as a walk-in rather than make an appointment because their private rooms were all full and a guy had been waiting for his tattoo to be done for about three hours.

Everyone there was nice and the place seemed like a solid business. I wanted a very simple tattoo done that took longer to set up than it did to finish the tattoo. My problem was the artist cant color inside the lines. You think this would be step 1 in learning how to tattoo. I had a simple outline and a small amount shading inside of the outline The outline was done well but the shading was all over the place. Inside and outside the line. Literally all she had to do was stay inside the lines. Well she did not! Price was never discussed as well. This was my fault for not asking up front but paying $50 for a tatto that took less than 5 minutes is a bit sad. On top of that it was less than prison tattoo quality. Id stay away or make sure you discuss every detail up front. Maybe have them do a page in a coloring book first to test their skills.

What to say!!! How bout take some pride in your own trade and quit putting ink on underage children. Maybe give a $hit about getting a valid identification form cause I would say if a bank wont use the Id to cash a check than theirs a problem. Poor customer service . A shop I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. Dosent handle criticism well at all,and to be honest cant be that good if they are hurting so bad for money they go after underage kids for customers.

The guys here are great. It is clean, and bright. They are all very talented, including the piercer Beauty who comes in on weekends; she has done multiple piercings on me and I havent had any problems. Matt did a FREEHAND ankle chain and charms tattoo, which we also designed, on me that is beautiful and was very inexpensive. I recommend Nightingales to everyone in and around Evansville wanting tattoos or piercings!

Travis did great on my graffiti people stop complaining or you it. Sometimes the client sucks and wont stop moving. When i got to my elbow believe me for about 5 mins i felt bad for him because i had to maintain my composer for the artist.

The guy with the glasses did my tattoo great. And I also have two more tattoos I got done there about three or four years ago and they still look good.
