I was recommended this place through my friend as they had frequented this place and had beautiful work done. Its been over 6 months and Ive pondered to post this and I figured Id share my experience with this place. Im not saying everyone in this business is bad, but the guy I had just did not care at all. I had gotten an appointment one week in advance and gave a down payment back in January 2017. The day of, I go in and the guy cant do the tattoo I wanted due to its size, so he shrunk it in a new design and all it reminded me of was a fetus. Note: he had my number for a week to call and talk about it which he didnt (though someone wrote down my appointment). I declined it and told him to do a different version I pulled off of google as I would already lose the deposit. His words were "well you dont have to get the tattoo." He was also talking to another customer before I came in saying hed be available in an hour. Thanks. So tattoo is going and an hour in the person comes back for their appointment. He finishes up, tells me to stand, and then put the plastic thing on the tattoo. Doesnt ask how it looks. Im already frustrated and dont want to stay any longer. He barely got a tip from me as it was $180 for the dud. The customer across from me was getting an amazing tattoo done and it was so stunning compared to mine. As the tattoo healed I could see just how much worse it was. The color was not right. The face looked angry. The paw was not a paw, but a stump of a leg. I went to a different tattoo place a few months later and they fixed it how I wanted it within the amount of time the guy had. I dont do well with needles nor pain but I sat pretty still for this. I will need a few more sessions with the other place to be able to cover the rest of the stump leg but at least I can go out now and people say its cute other than "that is a pasty angry fox" (its not a fox but people think it is) I am not bashing the company, but I do not like how this employee didnt give the quality they garuntee and couldnt even draw a paw right (his ink drawing to use as a trace HAD a paw on it, not a nub.) He shouldnt of booked an appointment in front of his customer for an hour later, should have said "is this a tattoo Id like to walk around with", and taken more time into detail. Im sorry for the rant, but this was my experience with this place. And yes. I have before and after pictures to compare what he did and what the other place did to fix it.

The first time I visited the shop I was already skeptical of how the whole thing would turn out. The guy behind the counter seemed the least bit interested in me and was annoyed I had interrupted him by walking into the shop. I never got his name or Id include it. I showed him my design and told him how big I was thinking (roughly 5 inches). He told me it might have to be a bit bigger because of the detail and I was completely okay with that. He took my deposit and my phone number and set up the appointment for 2 weeks later. In that time I didnt hear a single thing from the artist to talk about the design. I show up and he shows me a template that is the entire length of my forearm. Naturally I wasnt okay with this. I told him I had to have something smaller but I wouldnt want him to do something he wasnt comfortable with. He tried to size it down but couldnt get it down to the size I needed and I told him I understood. He was being very helpful and doing his best to try and make it work. Then he proceeds to start huffing and puffing and acting like Im being ridiculous. I apologize to him because hes clearly upset even though I told them from the get go it had to be small. Seriously unprofessional, but thanks for making a quick buck off me.

I dont normally write reviews, but here it is: I have gotten four of my five tattoos done here by one Giacomo DelRio and I really have nothing but good things to say. His attention to detail is excellent, not only in the actual ink, but in his ability to understand what kind of design Im going for and what I want to accomplish with it. He really saved me in particular with my largest tattoo which I recklessly wanted "somewhere on my right forearm," but he helped me figure out exactly where it would look best on my forearm. Needless to say the tattoos themselves are all near perfection. I only have one tattoo that was not done by him which I got at another location, and while it is by no means a bad tattoo, the difference is definitely noticeable. Giacomos tattoos are noticeably cleaner with a better attention to detail all around. So yeah, highly recommended. Great establishment, great artists, great guys. If youre getting a tattoo in Bloomington, this would be my first choice.

Designed a custom wolf last year and was really proud with my concept but Giacomo Delrio tweaked it a bit when it was time to get the tattoo and it turned out so much better than I could have imagined thanks to his work. His artistry and professionalism were incredible and on top of that, he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve met. Jereme is a great artist and great person as well, highly recommend this place if you’re interested in getting some quality ink done. Couldn’t be happier with my experiences there and can’t wait to go back soon!

I had such a good experience at Time and Tide! Jason did a fantastic job giving me my first tattoo; he was enthusiastic and thorough during the design process, making sure I approved of every detail. He was also very encouraging while I was under the needle as well. The final product is exactly what I wanted, and very reasonably priced. If youre there during a busy or understaffed time, just know its worth the wait and that the artists will do their very best to give you exactly what you want. Trust them.

Colin is the best in town, easy. He is a nationally known tattoo artist right here in Bloomington. His work is amazing, he listens and enhances his clients ideas, and has a gentle touch. I have spotted his high quality work all over, as well as gotten complements on the tattoos he did for me. He is the best! His shop is clean and tidy. He worked at Skinquake and in Europe for many years, and has gone out on his own recently. Dont be put off by his youthful looks- he has been doing this for a long time!

Ive been tattood by everyone that works here and they are all great. They make sure youre comfortable and have a great experience. I was in Hollywood getting Tattood in Oliver Pecks shops before my "Collin Sleeve" and told the guys out there about my future sleeve and they all said they were jealous. Its amazing they knew who he was out there and were fans of his work. My sleeve is now finished and is amazing. If youre gonna get a tattoo in Bloomington this is The place to go.
