I had a full set of dishes packaged and sent that were my grandmothers. The lady that helped me in the store was warm and very helpful. Customer service was something that was understood in this store. I explained the importance that the dishes arrive at their destination undamaged. She detailed the packing process to me and assured me she would do everything necessary to ensure they were packaged in a way that they would arrive safe. I gave them the box of dishes, which they split into two boxes. They wrapped each dish in a layer of bubble wrap and even added foam peanuts to the dishes that had handles for extra cushioning. The dishes were previously packaged in a thin layer of foam wrapping - which the UPS store kept them wrapped in. The dishes were then placed in a layer of foam peanuts and boxed up. They did an excellent job taking care of a family heirloom. I most certainly would use them again. The price was reasonable for a full set of dishes - around $85.00.

Beware this store! My elderly mother mailed an insured package though this store and they charged her $206 ABOVE what the ups corporate offices and the ups website indicated the price would be with insurance. They price gouge so take your business elsewhere or be prepared to be ripped off! I will be filing a complaint with the Indiana Attorney Generals office under the Senior Consumer Protection Act. When I insisted they refund my mother the difference they said all they would do is get the package sent back here and she would have to pick it up and take it somewhere else! Since I live out of state and my mother is ill and did not have the strength, she could not do that. Our only option is to not let this happen to others and file a complaint.

The online calculator is wildly inaccurate or they just inflate the price (or round up the dimensions and weight) once you get in the store. The last 5 times I have tried to ship with them the cost has been nearly double what it says online. I even over estimated the dimensions and weight to be safe. Two examples of note: *UPS-$115 (estimate said $48)- took it to the Post Office and it was $40 *UPS-$75 (estimate said $36)- took it to the Post Office and it was $38 The only reason I attempt to use them is because the location is convenient. I will no longer mind the inconvenient location of the Post Office.

My customer experience awesome. Namely thanks to AJ. As soon as I walked in he asked "Can I help you with anything?" I told him I needed to return a book rental and was looking for a box, and within seconds he suggested a bubble package, which was definitely a more practical option. He then asked for the book...I gave it to him with the corresponding labels I printed beforehand and he took care of the rest...and within two minutes I was out of the door with the tracking number and receipt. Overall, the experience was quick, friendly and effective (as I accomplished when I intended to). Much thanks to AJ!

First time I came here I waited in line about 15 minutes to drop off a book from Amazon rental. Eventually an employee decided to tell us that anyone dropping off books could just leave them on the counter; about half the people in line had a book dropoff. Last time I tried to go there and send something back, I drove across town arriving 7 minutes before closing time and the door was already locked. A minute or two I can understand, but 7+?

If you have to use this location- DONT!!! Fortunately, there are many options in Bloomington- and all of them are better than this location. I have used other UPS centers to receive goods- all have been very straightforward. This location charges you if you do not have a storage / mail box with them. The shipping charges had already been paid. This place is a scam and imposes its own discretionary additional fees. BAD PLACE!!!

It has been a long time since weve used this business. Frankly given how many ways you can send packages in Bloomington and the limited parking at this location, Im surprised it is still in business. When we used it, the staff was friendly and the prices, well, expensive but then we were expecting that. Normally I suggest using the US Postal service unless you have a specific item or address that needs UPS care.

I needed to print off a large order, but having just moved to Bloomington, I didnt know where to do this. So I called every UPS Store, Staples, Copy Shop I could find, and this store quoted me the best prices. The associates were kind and really wanted me to get the best price and product possible. This is now the only copy shop in Bloomington I will use!

Went to this location for passport photos. The website says that they do passport photos, the sign in the store listed passport photos under the services offered, but I was told that they "no longer do those." I understand that the website might take a bit to update, but perhaps they should remove the sign in the store.

Amanda, the assistant in the store, seemed like she would much rather be doing anything else than dealing with customers. Like the previous reviewers experience, I too was charged significantly more than the UPS online calculator quoted. I will not be using this store again.

Like another reviewer, I had my grandmothers china packed and shipped by UPS on College Mall Road to Minnesota. The recipient said it was packed very well. The cost was higher than the estimate, but, considering the amount of work involved, it was reasonable.

They charge a dollar to tape up your package. Be sure to bring all your packages pre taped! The only pro over the main UPS location on Liberty is they are open for a bit on Saturday. If you have a choice in shipping, try the FedEx place or post office.

Chelsea there was very rude to me when I came into fax. I asked her where to go and she just pointed and I went where she pointed and I had to stand there for about 4/5 minutes till someone came up to me and helped me.
