Absolutely disgusted by this Lord & Taylor. The older ladies who work at this store are obnoxiously rude. The ones I encountered all had something up their a*#%$. You work in a retail store as a customer service representative--so what the hell are you so snobby about?? First situation: After purchasing Clinique products, the woman nearly threw my purchase at me and didnt even say anything. She turned around while giving me the purchase to talk to her co-worker. Not so bad, but rude. Main situation: I almost purchased a Kenneth Cole sweater that was on sale. I thought it was great, because the sweater was an extra 50% off of the ticketed price. The ticketed price said $30, so $15 was an amazing price for a brand name. But when I went to the cash register, it rang up as $25. I informed the woman that it was an extra 50% off, and the woman adamantly said, "No, the ticketed price is $50". But it CLEARLY said $30. She gave me look like "You must be poor or something". When I asked another woman, she actually laughed in my face and said, "Do you really think we would ever sell this for that cheap!? Were not giving it away for free!" Trust me; you might be thinking that I might be exaggerating (the tone is worse than you think), but this was the response that I received. So I finally went to another register and asked for an explanation; and she just said "It was mislabeled; someone mustve ticketed it incorrectly". I returned it. I was fed up with the responses, and the snobby attitude. I hate this store.

I had never been treated so poorly by three older women working the cosmetics counters this evening & reported it immediately after leaving the store what the incident entailed. I simply read the return/exchange policy & also called the store to confirm that it is correct. I was given a thoughtful & kind gift from my friend & I no longer use the products so I decided Id take them to exchange for something that I would use in different colors. I was disrespected & flat out lied to my face about the policy and that no customer service agent would say that I can exchange without a receipt which is clearly stayed on their site. I decided to just ask for the manager to come over and rectify the situation and turned away and said their isnt one here sorry. I was shocked at that & it hurt my feelings because I enjoy talking about productso to all the ladies but I felt I was a child being bullied. I hope store management will address these womens behavior & realize that these are the people representing your company and store which I know is not what management & corporate will be pleased to hear about it.

I bought a nice watch for a couple hundred dollars at this Lord and Taylor. I was very excited about finally finding the perfect watch. The man working the jewelry counter said I would be able to adjust the watch at home. Long story short, I could not. I had to make a special trip back to the store to have it adjusted (30 minutes driving each way). Not just that, the jewelry counter was very busy when I returned with only one associate working. I had to wait over 30 minutes to have my watch adjusted. It was ridiculous. It seems like some of the staff are lazy and the store as a whole is understaffed. I felt bad for the woman working the jewelry counter when I came back because she seemed so overwhelmed. I almost returned the watch because of all the inconvenience and hassle I experienced. In addition, the store is very disheveled and not organized. I tried on a few dresses and found they were ripped/torn. This store was a mess and I would not recommend shopping there.

Very nice experianced sale associates going extr mile to satisfy customers. However the new employees are not, and is not enaugh experianced personell on the floor. This is terrible if you have to wait for service due to lock of staff on floor. Im a long time customer (15 years) and never see so much ignorance comming from management. Hope this situation will change soon, because many of my friends are at the same opinion... Jeniffer

I come to this store every few weeks. The BCBG lady Banu is very pleasant to deal with and professional. Their employees work hard and have always been pleasant to me, you have to give kindness to get kindness too. When I was shopping yesterday a repulsive, ugly, and rude customer treated a staff member with disrespect, I couldnt believe it. Thank you for carrying cute, trendy items and positive attitudes. I will be back to shop!

I called FOUR times to figure out if you guys had a type of Uggs that I wanted and every single time I called some guy from customer service kept hanging up on me. Im not shopping here anymore and I WILL be sure to tell my friends and business partners not to do so too. HORRIBLE customer service, horrible quality, and horrible workers.

Dear Lord & Taylor Woodfield, If your employees are instructed to not allow a customer to use a fitting room (when they are COMPLETELY empty by the way) to nurse her baby, the least you could do is keep your bathroom a little cleaner so her baby isnt surrounded by complete filth as she nurses in shame. I actually love Lord and Taylor. Everyone whose their "former customer" im sorry but they dont care. There are thousands of other L&T fans out there that are still enjoying L&T. Go ahead to Nordstrom. That wont hurt their feelings either. Good luck with their deals. I love the employees, very nice and helpful!

TERRIBLE service. Asked to open a fitting room because there was a long line for one. They ignored me. No bathrooms. Rude service although theres like only 4 people in the whole store... ON A FRIDAY. My girlfriend legit is never dress shopping here again

Its a well stocked store but extremely poor customer service. The sales associates wilfully mislead the customers on return and exchange policy. Extremely disappointing to see such an established retailer turning to cheap tactics.
