2 years ago I would have given this a 5 star review. It used to be the best option for high quality produce and meat in the St. Charles/Geneva area. Since the company was bought out, the changes that have happened have not impressed me. They are often out of stock on many items, the produce we have purchased lately has not been of good quality...examples include fresh garlic bulbs that were molding inside when we broke them open the day we brought them home, carrots and onions that we bought yesterday were soft and rubbery today when we went to use them. also, this used to be the only place that had baggers who regularly would take your groceries to your car. well now the cashiers tell us that the corporate cutbacks in the budget has forced them to get rid of baggers and now they just installed cart corrals in the parking lot so that customers have a place to put their cart after they ferry their groceries out. The Fresh Markets new ownership (countrywide) clearly do not know who their customers are/were. After todays experience with the bad produce, we are no longer going to shop there. We will drive 30 mins to Wheaton to Whole Foods Market. Such a shame.

We recently purchased a meatloaf ready made from their meat department. $7.99 each. We returned the product after my husband and I become very ill the night before being up all night in the bathroom(you can guess the rest). My husband didnt have any problems returning it but, when the manager was called to approve the return (no CS desk you have to go through check out)he had no explanation nor offered an apology. My husband told him he needed to test the meat as it was contaminated but, received no response? Really you are a high end gourmet grocery store and nothing? Wont be shopping here again. Going back to Whole Foods. An apology would have gone a long way.

Love this store, a little spendy but high quality. BIG Complaint... only place I can buy Dukes Mayonnaise and this is the 2nd time I have gone there to pick up another jar, shelf is EMPTY. Only small squeezable which is way overpriced in comparison. Got a coffee sample to take the edge off being a little bent. If I could get it else where? I would if I knew it was going to be in stock. Who runs out of mayo in a grocery store?

This place has all the fancy items you need for that gourmet recipe you found. They have some very interesting products and always offers fresh fish and meats. Their deli area has fresh sushi, salads, sandwiches, and all sorts of yummy stuff. The dilly cucumber salad is never a miss! so yummy!

I was disappointed in the hot food selection and the quality of the produce. The $7 chicken breast was dry and the sides were refrigerated. For the price, I would have expected much more. Whole Foods has much more selection.

This rating is for its location relative to cars entering the shopping center. Routinely traffic is backed up cause the customers feel that walking with a grocery cart has rite of way over traffic.

Great selection of produce. Lots of organic options. The olive bar is excellent. We come here for the pasture fed eggs.
