If you like no customer service and being blown off CAMEO BRIDAL in River Stone is the place for you. Let me first say that the staff there was very kind to us. Its Misty the owner we have the issue with. We had a great first experience when we went in and bought my daughters wedding dress the end of October 2015 and bridesmaid dresses the day after Christmas. The Wedding is in July 2016 Thats where the customer service pretty much ended. We were told the wedding dress would be in in March and same with the bridesmaid dresses. We checked in here and there to see if things were still on track for March. We called, emailed, left messages. Misty never answers the phone at the shop, returns emails or phone calls. She give excuses like "The email I sent to sends it back, "The phone numbers on file do not accept messages." The list goes on. We were given the run around so much. When we finally did get in touch with her she asked for proof we paid for our dresses. We had to give her copies of our receipts. We told her if she wanted proof we paid we wanted proof of order date of the dresses. It took forever but she gave us the bridal gown order form. We to this day never did receive the order form for the bridesmaid dresses. After all this we were told she could not track the order when it went into customs and this brand of dress was taking longer. I actually went online with my order number and contacted the dress place in New York and they told me the dress was there and we needed to call Accounting. Red Flag. Misty told us again date after date they would be in and they were shipped. The dates would come and go. She told us to make a fitting for Memorial Weekend. I again didnt trust her so we did not make an appointment due to my daughter living in Seattle and having to fly home. That weekend came and went and we left messages and email. This place gives you total run around and makes a time that is suppose to be special the most stressful thing. Whats sad is that Misty is also a wedding planner. I would never use her or go to her shop again. Just be aware. All I ask is honesty and we got the run around. If you get something off the shelf you are probably fine but I would not order anything or you may not get it. Its totally ridiculous that we order a dress in October and it takes 7 months to get it and bridesmaids dresses 5 months. We are not the only ones that have had problems there. Some friends that were in the same day from our church ordered and had the same experience. Read the reviews before going in.

My experience with Story Book Bridal had nothing to do with the gowns or things they were selling, it was the experience with the wedding planner. I was involved in a wedding last week where Misty was the wedding planner and we were very unhappy with her service. They just started providing tuxes for weddings and it was an absolute disaster! All the groomsmen, the groom and the grooms father got wrong measurements at their store. Then after being told they had to return for new measurements and without apology or remorse they took new ones. WHICH WERE STILL COMPLETELY OFF! The day before the wedding we had all the guys trying on tuxes that did not fit at all. They were unwearable. There was still no apology from Misty just blame shifting. She brought the tuxes to the rehearsal for the guys to take home that night and what do you know, they were STILL all wrong. The morning of the wedding she was doing make shift adjustments to the tuxes even though they still looked awful and did not fit she just continued to blame others. There was no excuse for all these mistakes. A huge problem with Mistys business is that she doesnt train any of the young girls in her shop. They openly admitted to us they didnt know how to do the tuxes or measurements yet Misty was nowhere to be found EVEN when she said she would meet us at the shop she wasnt there. This wedding was extremely stressful and it was in large part because of the wedding planner. They say on their website they are there to make things easier for everyone but she only made things more stressful and difficult. The most upsetting thing was when the mother of the groom tried to speak with her about the problems they were having with the tuxes she just argued and claimed shes already spent enough money on tux mistakes instead of working with us and apologizing. The day of the wedding in normal chaos we called Misty to ask if she could help get the flowers to the picture site and she simply claimed that wasnt part of her job instead of being willing to help in every aspect. Needless to say Misty has some growing to do in her customer service and she should NOT be doing tuxes. They were almost $200 and no one in her shop has a clue what is going on. Might as well skip the middle man and go right to Tuxedo Gallery and get the job done right and in time for the wedding. I would definitely not recommend doing any business with this store.

Edited: Not sure if I will even get my dress since the owner was arrested for fraud. My mom tried to contact her to give her a chance to explain and to work with her on getting my dress. However, at this point none of the workers or the owner have contacted me or my mom. Not sure how this all going to play out, but it is not something that anyone should have to deal with. I feel bad for the girls who have their wedding soon and they dont have their dresses. I bought my dress here back in October 2016. I had been to two other places before this and couldnt find the dress I was looking for. I walked right in and found "the one". Lindsay had me try on a few dresses before the one that I really wanted just to make sure that it was the right one. It also made for a cool story that the dress I picked was the very last one I tried on. It was the least expensive one I tried on all day too :). The only thing I was bummed about is I didnt get to have the free champagne, but thats no biggy. I also went on a weekend that if I bought a wedding dress I get free Wifey wear so thats awesome. Ive seen reviews on here about lack of communication and dresses not coming in on time. I havent had any issues with getting a hold of anyone, but cant comment on lack of dress since my wedding is still months away. I also really liked the fact that my group was allowed to pick out dresses too. Other shops people are kind of stuck in one place and its the sales person that does all the picking out.

Our bad experience happened last year and I didnt write about it. Now Ive heard a coworker of mine is having a similar situation so I feel like I should say something to let others know. On our shopping day we had excellent service that included champagne and lots of fun. My daughter picked out her dream wedding dress and we ordered it with great anticipation. The contract said it would arrive in 4-5 months however the sales rep said verbally gave us a due date that was about 4 months. So, once that due date came, we called to ask about its arrival and were told a few more weeks. Once the 5 month mark hit we called a few times and got no return calls. Finally it arrived, but sad to say there was a serious sizing issue, and one of the pieces to the dress needed to be remade. We were told this would take a few more weeks, which we didnt have. We requested a refund so that we could find a dress off the rack and a different store to ensure alterations were completed in time. We signed a contract and there are no refunds. After a couple phone calls and in store visits, I contacted my bank to start a dispute on the transaction and we went shopping elsewhere. The owner fought my bank dispute and assured me I had no grounds to my dispute. Well she was wrong, after my bank worked with her bank, and I provided the contract which showed they missed the delivery due date, I won the dispute.
