TERRIBLE SERVICE! The male owner had a bad attitude. Any good business owner knows better than to speak condescendingly to a customer. Im new to wearing extensions and didnt know how they work as Ive worn my hair natural my whole life before this point, but I wanted to try something different and this idiot decides to try to make fun of me for not knowing how to put them in. Well guess what dude? Not everybody wears extensions. What business owner treats customers like that? An uneducated, ghetto, self-loathing, lowlife is who does that to a customer. But guess what buddy? Why do you have a bald head? And why would I listen to anything this crook had to say about hair when he has none? I never did anything to this owner for him to be rude to me, so Im not sure what his problem was, but I know that I will not be doing business here ever again. Business there was slow anyway; no customers were in there, so that shows a lot about their performance with customers. On top of that, the store was dirty, unorganized, and in a terrible location cocked up on the side of a plaza. Their little low-budget commercial was false advertising, making it seem like the store is all that when its not. Its not anything to brag about. In fact, its trash. So to the business owner, you need to work on your people skills and not be rude, and learn some manners and decency. You will continue to lose customers. Anyone thinking of going to this place, I advise you to choose another store. Chances are youll find what youre looking for with better service with people who KNOW how to interact with customers and treat them well.

I had the worst customer service and hair experience at PDK! After walking in, I was directed to go to the back salon area. The salon area was very dated, cluttered and did not look sanitary. I sat down and was told by the other stylist that someone will be with me in a moment. The owners wife walks in, tells me to sit in her chair and begins combing my hair. She never greeted me, told me her name, she didnt even smile. I turn around to say hello and extended my hand, no response. I turn back around, she begins spraying product in my hair, the next thing I hear is sizzling as she begins using the flat iron on my hair. I hear the sizzling sound a 2nd time. I turn around to ask what product shes using, she says Design spritz! That was it! Who even uses spritz anymore!! From the dated look, clutter, less than sanitary work space, poor customer service, then spraying spritz on my hair without discussing products with me was the last straw! I politely turned to her, said I wasnt comfortable with her doing my hair, got up and left! Never will I ever go back to PDK and I recommend you not either!

When I moved to Roswell I was happy to find this black beauty supply store and the fact that is is black-owned made me want to support them. The husband is friendly, but no one else there is. The store is dark and the products are dusty. I have started shopping at the new beauty supply store in the Kroger shopping center. New, bright, friendly. But today they didnt have the product I was looking for. So I called PD&K. They had it. I asked how much it was and he said he doesnt give prices over the phone. You have to come in the store. ONLY because it is close by I went. No one greeted me at all. I walked around and came in with two 10 year old girls, so I wasnt quiet. I found my product, then asked the owner why he doesnt give prices out over the phone. He said because people call 4 or 5 places to try to find the cheapest price. Um..isnt that what consumers do?! How about try being the place people WANT to bring their business to?! I wont be going back. I cant imagine how their business is going to last, especially with the new beauty supply store on Holcomb Bridge.

It bothers me that they immediately come up to you and ask if you need something when you walk in, it makes me feel like they think Im going to steal. And to be quite honest they all rub me the wrong way except for the husband. The last time I went in there, I got my items and when I went to the register the lady was staring at me in the face and kept staring at my hair like there was something wrong with it then she had the nerve to slip in a card to advertise her sub par braiding service she has in the back. Needless to say that will be the LAST time I spend my money in there, Id rather give the Asians my money at least they dont make me uncomfortable and have EVERYTHING I need.

I love supporting black owned businesses, but the last 3 times Ive gone there, the customer service wasnt welcoming. Owners personality seem dry, and unpleasant even when holding a conversation, they just look at you with a blank stare. Got my hair braided for vacation, the lady rushed on my head, braids fell out the second day, I was told that I had to wait for the braider to come back from out of town, AND I had to pay for the service again. I will NEVER refer anyone to that location. I get better treatment from the Asians down the street.

I was glad to learn of this African American family owned business. Ive been in Cobb County most of my time in Georgia with access to beauty supply stores. So when I moved to Alpharetta I was thrilled to come across PD&K. I also found my stylist there too-:) Service is great and products are always in stocked!

I have been going to PD&K since theyve opened and have always found the owners to be helpful and knowledgeable. I am grateful that they opened up a shop that offers so many solutions for my natural hair needs in this part of the city! I wont shop for my or my familys hair care needs anywhere else.

I called to get a price and they wouldnt tell me over the phone. I needed rollers and wanted to know how many per pack and the price so I could budget properly. I just didnt want to drive all the way there if I didnt have enough. I am very loyal to this place thats why I called in advance.

I go to PDK for my familys hair care products. I find the owner and his family very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This is the only place that I can find reasonably priced makeup for my dark skin tone as well as hair products for myself, my teen-aged daughter and my Mother-In-Law

I am glad there is a black owned hair salon and glad there is a hairsalon in my area...but ummm I never know what attitude ima get when I go here...when I went yesterday there was no warm greeting or can I help you find anything? Nothing! Just a dry, tired, slow attitude visit.
