One of the minimum requirements for running a successful business is being open during your business hours, unfortunately even this requirement was not met. I waited for 25 min for the store to open but left empty handed. I checked the store hours on the website and called the number listed on the door w/o any success. Voicemail # prompt does not work either. I am saddned to be leaving this review as I used to come to the store and buy 5-6 bottles at the time as prices are reasonable and the wine tastes good. However, without customer service sadly there will be no customers.

I came in with my friend for her Wine Club and we sampled 6 different wines. The folks were knowledgeable about each wine and its origin. I dont typically prefer white wines, and they were able to broaden my horizon. Im guessing I dont gravitate towards the mainstream grapes. Theres a HUGE selection within this small space. Prepare to be amazed and cultured on some excellent blends. The vibe is great and its a sensational spot to mingle with Atlantas finest.

Love this place and the people! I used to think that getting a headache while drinking red wine is normal for me, and nope! The wines that Nora carries are small production, so theres not all the extra chemicals added to stay stocked on a shelf in Kroger for years. Highly, highly recommend. My husband and I even hosted our Christmas party at the shop and now in June, people are still talking about how much fun they had.

I dont understand the negative comments posted on here. Ive been to several wine tastings here and each visit has been pleasant. The people there know there wines and you can learn alot if you pay attention. Plus the wines they sell are at a great price. I believe majority of them are below $20 and its not your everyday brands you can buy at a grocery store. I cant wait to visit again for another class.

If youre looking for a great place to taste some wine and learn something, then get to Wine Shoe. First, dont base your decision on my review or anyone elses. Go and try it yourself. Depending on these or any other reviews is just silly. If you are looking to learn something, talk to Jay. You will be hard pressed to find more knowledge about wine in Atlanta. Remember, drink what tastes good, duh.

Found this place with Groupon and thought it would be fun to try. I really did not think the staff was helpful and seemed to be more about drinking than teaching. I had placed my review on Yelp and it was removed so I bet many people do not like this place but they will not take anything but good rateings on those sites. BUY A BOTTLE ANY WHERE ELSE - DONT GO!

I had an amazing time at Wine Shoe. The gentleman teaching was not only passionate about wine but he was equally as passionate about music. I was totally engulfed in his conversation. This wasn’t just a wine tasting, it was an experience. I left feeling like there was so much more I have to explore in this world!

Such a cute place in the downtown area. I was here for a special event and the host was very accommodating and great to work with. They specialize in boutique wines and getting to know the makers of the wines. The party was well executed and very casual. I would go back again!

The Wine Shoe is a old aged European rustic inspired wine cellar with a hint of elegance. I had the pleasure of attending a wine class with a fantastic wine connoisseur who has extensive knowledge and a great passion for wine. I will be heading back soon.

Nora and Jay are the best. They have an authentic love for what they do here. Ive been for a group tasting and am now a club member. Also, the wine club? Spectacular. I look forward to hosting something in this amazing space!

Selection is relatively good, and the owner and staff she has are always willing to help you find what you're looking for. I have attended the wine class/tasting previously and definitely believe it is worth the price.

Did a wine tasting there and they make tasting accessible to the average person while giving you a fun and memorable experience. You will leave having gained a mass of knowledge without having sat through a lecture.

Have enjoyed myself every time Ive been here. The wine tasting classes are superb. I had never enjoyed red wines, and after the class I honestly finally understood why people like them.

Worst wine store/tasting I have ever been to. Save your time and try anywhere else...and yes the owner was grossly drunk and unprofessinal when I was there too.

Went to a wine class here. The wines were really good and they guy knew his stuff, however, the class took way to long to have 6-7 "tastes" of wine.

The wine was cheap and the owner was very drunk! I do not believe she had a basic understanding of wine!
