I found this place on Google Maps and it had 5 star rating with all the reviews. I ended up talking with Jake V after looking over the examples on their facebook page. The great attention to details is what caught my attention at first. After talking with Jake V and discovering his true passion for the art. Im working with him now on designing a full back piece involving heavy details of medieval style, a dragon, mountains, waterfalls, a castle, trees, and other very detailed items. Jake V is a master mind for suggestions and capturing the image with his years of experience. Ive seen first hand that he is capable of things I never thought could be done. Im looking forward to the final piece and working on the design process with Jake V. An added plus is the shop was really clean and I was able to watch him tattoo a beautiful back piece with similar detailed level of work that Im looking for. Hearing him make suggestions and improvements as he was doing the work was great to hear. Its one thing to pay someone to just do the job 100% and care not of what may or may not be good in the end. Its another to find someone willing to take the time and dedication to talk about those adjustments and suggestions in real time to help improve on the original design as seen fit by their expertise. Thats what youre paying for with Jake V. Its not 100% done, its 150%. Jake V truly does love his work and it shows. Im excited and I highly recommended Treasure Island Tattoo.

My fiancee and I were in the St. Pete Beach/Treasure Island area for a friends wedding and I wanted to get my first tattoo and she wanted to get an old tattoo covered up. I did quite a bit of research of the many tattoo shops in the area and I found that Treasure Island Tattoo Company came highly recommended and reviewed and would bend over backwards for tourists to fit there schedule. They most certainty lived up to their reputation. As soon as I walked in one of the employees was sitting on a sofa in the shop, he casually asked if he could help us and when I said that I wanted to get my first tattoo the employee jumped up and was behind the counter in a second and as excited as I was. I showed him a few pictures and explained what I wanted. He had me email the photos to him and the tattoo artist came over and listened to my ideas and said it wouldnt be a problem. We set up a date for the tattoo and he said to check back the day before to check the design. I stopped in the day before and the design was better than I had imagined. The day of the tattoo they offered us a variety of beverages and doubled checked design and placement. They talked and treated us like we were old friends and set a great friendly atmosphere. After the tattoo was done which turned out perfect he gave me a free t-shirt since it was my first.

My sister and I decided to get our second tattoos while on vacation. We chose this place based on the previous tattoos some of the artists here have done. We unluckily got Jayson as our artist. He was really nice and seemed pretty cool. To put it in plane words he didnt listen at all to what we wanted. We kept saying we wanted this or that and he wouldnt really listen and would just go back to his original cartoonish drawing. In my opinion, I dont think the guy really has much creativity or artistic talent. He seemed to not be willing to get creative to give us what we wanted which is what the tattoo artist should be doing. I thought about not getting it after not really liking the drawing he did but he convinced me to trust him. My sister and I are both unhappy with our new tats and are already thinking of ways to get them re done not even 24 hours later. If you go here, do not get Jayson. I think we would have been fine with any of the other artists there. The guy just wouldnt work with us.

Had a terrible experience. The only reason Im giving 2 stars if because they did a good job on my brother, his friend, and my boyfriends tattoos. I have come to absolutely hate part of mine. I dont think they have a problem doing the black and shading basically because all they have to do is trace. But I had jayson put some color into mine and it looks terrible. And when he was talking to me about how he was going to do it he was fairly rude because I didnt get was he was saying so he did it anyways and I hate it. Im so disappointed in it and upset that Im going to have to pay more to have it fixed. Everyone else was pretty nice but jayson gave me attitude when I wanted to change anything... even though it was going on MY body. Highly recommend anyone else but jayson.

I have been there twice in the past year. I absolutely love the it, the people there make you feel so welcome; they understand the first timers and assure them everything will be ok, and they welcome back ink addicts! The main lady there tells you where it hurts and where it doesnt. They try to start conversations with you. They are just overall very friendly people. And the artists are phenomenal, their work is just spectacular. Each one of them takes pride in what they do, they want to make sure you leave with a 100% perfect tattoo that you love. Treasure Island Tattoo Company the place to get tattooed, once its on your skin thats it, you should get it done by great professionals!!!

This is my 3rd year in a row in treasure island and I love it here, I decided this trip to get a tattoo as my souvenir. I looked up some places and treasure island tattoo company had amazing reviews! I checked out their site and Facebook page after reading some reviews and decided Jake was the artist I wanted. I was going to go little and simple until I saw his amazing work and I decided to get a big piece Ive wanted for a while but never trusted anyone at home to do. Im so glad I went with Jake and the piece I really wanted, it turned out so amazing! I highly recommend Treasure Island Tattoo Company, they are fun and professional and excellent artists.

So I did a lot of research on the shops here in Treasure Island, FL! Also asked the locals and every one kept telling me to check out Treasure Island Tattoo CO.! I looked them amazed by all the positive reviews and 5 stars all across the board song went in that night and made an appointment. My man Jake hooked me with a special tattoo my familys code of arms/crest. It turned out amazing. Had great conversation as well. The prices are fair shout to Preston for hooking up the words. And to Matt whos a smart ass appreciate the entertainment bro had a great time shooting the breeze with you hands down I will recommended them to anyone!!!!!!!

My wife & I got tattooed by Joslin this past week (7/10/15) and we really happy with our how the ink came out. Weve been getting tattooed for the past 10 years and were very particular on who tattoos us. Joslin is a great artist she listens to her clients and does an amazing job. Straight lines and awesome color. Treasure Island Tattoo is a super clean shop and easy to find with plenty of parking. The artists and staff at the shop are very helpful and welcoming.
