This store is a nightmare. The lighting is so dim its eerie and uncomfortable. Instantly felt off after entering. The aisles are cramped and EVERYONE THERE WAS DEAF or a JERK. I said excuse me to at least 30 people and not a one of them acknowledged me. In fact, several took up MORE space as I tried to squeeze by. Many unmarked items, many WAY overpriced items. $600 for a cheap wood 5 pc bedroom set with massive water damage that they SPRAYPAINTED to try and cover up (very poorly I might add) with cheap plastic embellishments...but only $500 for a giant Asian-themed solid, heavy wood desk. Like a freaking Emperors desk right there. RUDE employees! We were in the furniture section and hit a dead end almost blocked by a mattress. Hubby walked around it and went right, an employee was like, Sir, thats employees only. Oh, okay, was just trying to get around the mattress, Ill just go around yall back the other way... Some harpy employee screeches out IM TRYING TO SELL THIS MATTRESS. and he wasnt allowed to walk around them. Woah, lady, okay, good for you, maybe dont scream at people, bye. Customers overall sucked with one exception. A quiet elderly man with a beautiful little schnauzer who was perfectly behaved. Quiet, trained, good dog. There was a woman with a purse yapper in a cart and every time it saw a dog it started barking its head off...through the WHOLE DANG STORE. It was SO annoying. She had to hold it down in the cart to keep it from running after other dogs. Kids/teens sitting on furniture in the back, on desks, on tables, etc. Running through the store, diving past people. People who acted like theyd never seen a *** **** dog before stopping, turning, standing in the middle of an aisle so we couldnt pass, staring at our dog and just being obnoxious. TOTALLY different from my local SPCA thrift store. Will NOT return.

Large thrift store near downtown Titusville, benefiting the local SPCA. Prices for general merchandise were quite reasonable. However, prices for items they deemed *boutique* seemed a bit high, as I did not find said items *boutique* enough to warrant the prices. Ex., a NYC-themed margarita glass is not a $5+ thrift store item just because it says "New York City" in imperfect gold paint. On our visit, the first Saturday of December, the staff was apparently eager to close at exactly 3pm (no clue when they regularly close on Saturdays) so they could attend their Holiday Party, as I heard from another customer. This came up during my browsing, because for the the entire 20 minutes we were in the store, one specific employee relentlessly screamed that the store was closing at 3pm. We arrived about 2.35, and left before 3pm, because the yelling just wasnt conducive to my shopping... and as a mom, I am VERY accustomed to ignoring irritating & irrelevant loud noises. Indeed, I did dare two separate customers to ask the vocal employee (who seemed to have NOTHING else to do than aggressively approach each customer) what time the store closed, but I found no takers. She kinda scared me, so I wasnt asking either. But, I will definitely return the next time were in Titusville, with my fingers crossed they will not be closing early.

While this store has the potential to be great it appears to be under extremely poor management at this time. The store is ran in a manner that has it filthy, ALWAYS smelling terrible and with minimal effort given to its over all "organization". The lighting is dim and the staff is cold. The pricing is too high for its raggedy shopping experience and unwelcoming staff. Just because its a thrift store doesnt mean it has to appear and smell so bad. They might do better if theyd stop treating their customers less than the trash they make you sort though. Still they keep me going back every now and then for those "wooden nickel" sales. (These can be purchased for $5 in the store. ) If youre reading this and youve never been, I would recommend going only for the wooden nickel deals. Or better yet, support local yard sales instead.

I love a bargain & I love original stuff...I have picked up purses, belts, shoes(like new), unique candles, a frog ring! ( I collect frog stuff) & even a Halloween costume with all the accessories , all for fairly cheap. Though I must say that some of their items are rather pricey & makes me question their pricing system/judgement/abilities. As far as clothing goes, Salvation Army is most definately a better, less costly deal.

SPCA is a great place to get deals on used items, definitely spend the $5 on the wooden nickel for the sales, they post on the door & inside around the store what the nickel deal is & on their Facebook page. The staff is friendly & helpful. And theyre dog friendly! Which is great considering how hot it gets in Florida. Sometimes theyll have the bus in the front parking area with adoptable pets from the shelter.

Great place for just about everything, i would know. Ive been volunteering there, so Ive been unloading most the donations and see how much gets trashed if its to worn or if it came from people that had bugs on their stuff. So if youre buying anything there you can be assured its been through quality control no matter from toys electronics clothes or furniture, and always @ a price youll find nowhere else.

This was my first visit to the SPCA Thrift Shop. I found items from used toys, to used clothes, to used kitchen items. I also found new items donated to the thrift shop. It was well worth the trip to look around. As far as the pricing of the items they were higher than I felt was needed. I felt the items could be marked down a little more.

It would be great if the staff wasnt so rude. They will literally start yelling they close in an hour to every single customer that walks in the door an hour before closing time. And if youre looking at something a full hour before closing they will rush you saying to bring your purchase up front they close in a hour. I was blown away lol

We had brought a couple beach chairs up to the register to be held behind the counter so we could continue shopping. When we went to check out they werent there and the ladies told us they werent responsible for watching things. So I guess its ok to go behind the counter and take whatever you want...

This place has lots of stuff but thrifty it is not. I have found many items here that I could get cheaper brand new at a store. I believe they think that if people can buy it online for a high price that customers will pay that much for it in the store. Seriously prices are ridiculous!

I love the reason for the thrift shop, but Im not sure the spirit is there. Its all donations and pricey and thats ok but Im not really seeing how this is helping exactly. There is no low cost veterinary care at the clinic & our pet communities are growing with no homes to put them.

i used to shop here regularly, not so much anymore. there are 2 employees that ALWAYS have a smile and a helping hand but the atmosphere has changed so much I only go I have too. Supporting the SPCA is a great thing, I love that, just do not like the negative nellys.
