I cannot stress how unprofessional this location is. I was helped by a saleswoman to buy custom made chairs. I had seen the same chairs in Hudson Furniture, but they were a little more expensive and only had 3 on hand and told me the other 3 would be about 8 weeks before they arrived. I was told to try Matter Brothers because of their wide variety of selection. They seemed very pleasant about the whole order and the saleswoman (I believe her name was Judy) promised me that the whole process would not take more than 6 weeks. That sold me because I was moving into my new house in 5 weeks so I would have to live without chairs for only a week. 6 weeks passed and I called up the store and spoke to another saleswoman who explained that this company they ordered the chairs from, dont expect to see them for another 3-4 weeks, that its usually takes 8-10 weeks for them to make. I came into the store very upset and spoke to the sales manager Brian Wallace, who was very apologetic about the whole thing and told me he would look into the order and call me back. A few days later I get a call back that and he apologized the woman lied to me on the sale, and said they would arrive on the 21st of January. So I wrote him an email that I thought it was unprofessional that the sales manager wouldnt offer anything, maybe free delivery, maybe a gift card... Something... Something that would ease my mind, but I never heard back from him, not one single email. Great management skills there. You may have won a 1500 dollar sale, but lost a 10 thousand dollar customer. I called on the 24th to see where my delivery was, and the saleswoman who sold me the product again lied and said it was shipped out on the 13th and they should be in any day now. I decided to call back today February 2nd and the woman on the phone tells me they are already in the warehouse, I cant believe she (Judy) did not contact you. I also find out that I cant pick it up till Thursday, because there is no one in the warehouse to help me... Weirdest excuse I have ever heard... So I asked to speak to the manager, who is Brian, and of course what do you know, he is also out till Thursday and I cannot speak to anyone else. There are no Managers in a store for most of the week? What the hell kind of place doesnt have managers to speak to at all times? I have never ever in my life heard of a place that does not have a manager on staff at all times. Steer away from this place. Yes the products may be good, but you are better off paying a couple of extra bucks and going to Hudson. At least you wont be repeatedly lied to and have management on staff at all times. I have never dealt with a place so unprofessional and so uncaring about everything.

In 2009 we purchased a leather sectional and two leather recliners with the extended warranty. well one year and a half, the section of the coach where I sit discolored. So, I call Matter Brothers and was told to take pictures and email them. The customer service girl was quite rude (Judy Hicks), she told I was out of luck, not covered under warranty. Well, we are in the market for new furniture and after looking elsewhere we went to Matters, since we really liked the sales man Jim, he was a great person, we told him our problem with the furniture. Jim went the extra mile to assist us, he had the warranty people come out and look at out furniture. We were told that there was nothing that would be done. Spent over four thousand dollars and the furniture should be in the trash. I am very discusted that such a big company will rip you off like that..... Buyers beware, Matters Brothers does not back up any of there warranties!!!!!!

I have the pickiest wife EVER, I am a back sleeper and she is a side sleeper, after a year of searching debating on price, comfort, looking online, and we found our bed here. The staff was GREAT, We took 3 days to make a decision and they were the same when we came back. Dropping a few thousand on a bed is not a small investment, they understood that. However... we were completely comfortable with it ... BOTH of us. (That never happens!!!) They were very knowledgeable, not pushy in any way. gave us our space, but were there to help.. We love they are a family business not corporate, and the delivery was prompt. The delivery guys were so respectful of our home,left nothing, and left no reason not to tip

We were really excited about our selection of furniture, which included 2 sofas, 1 recliner, 2 side tables, and a TV table. It seemed comfortable and we liked the color selection. When we placed our order, we were told it would take 8 weeks! I was shocked. We went ahead and ordered. Nothing got to us in 8 weeks. Around week 10, we started getting a few pieces. It ended up taking over 12 weeks to get everything. I feel that the quality isnt that great. So sad. I like to help local businesses, but may stick with a chain from now on.
