I dont even know where to start..these people SUCK! I made an appointment to get a formal hairdo done for my WEDDING five days before. Yes it was kind of last minute but other plans fell through and I apologized. I was soo happy to find a salon that was actually going to be open the day of my wedding seeing as it was the Sunday after Christmas. Well the receptionist said that they had a girl who would be available for me that day and assured me everything was going to go fine as I mentioned I was a little stressed since it was so close to my wedding. The next day the girl who was scheduled to do my hair called me to tell me that she did not know why they would schedule her to do a formal hairdo since she was bad at them. I was horrified but desperate of course so I asked if there was any way she could still do my hair; she then told me she would and would get help from a more experienced stylist. The morning of my wedding day I get a call from the receptionist telling me that they would have to cancel my appointment because, "everyone called out sick"! Unreliable and unprofessional never go to this salon!!!

Awful store!!! Ive been there 2 times to purchase products and once to redeem a free gift coupon...horrible experience every time. First trip they didnt put all my purchase in the bag for my wedding and refused to give me money back until they inventoried the store to see that they had an extra product. Also didnt give me the reward points for my $200 purchase. Second trip, when I returned for my refund after they called to say they had an extra product in inventory that I could pick up or get my money back. When I arrived and waited in line for ever I was given a hard time about wanting a refund and had to convince them that I was told by the manager I could get a refund because I only wanted the product for my wedding which had passed. Third trip to get a birthday eyeshadow palette after receiving an email from Ulta rewards. Waited in a very long line to be told we dont have any of those... you can try back Thursday if you want. Ulta in Ocala sucks!!

I have been there 3 times with my daughter and every time we had to deal with no one to help and very rude sales people. The second time there I bought a $150.00 face cream only to find out it was opened inside the box and put back on their shelf. Today I tried to buy a gift card for my daughters birthday and they kept declining my cards. I called both credit card companies and there was no problems. Went back in and they still wouldnt accept it. Went across the street and used the card twice with no problem. Their items are way overpriced as I found the face cream for $99.00. My daughter only goes there in a pinch and she says SEPHORA is soooo much better. I dont think they will be in business long with their prices and they way they treat their customers.

I may be biased, being a certified makeup junkie, but I love this store in particular because of the salespeople. They were extremely helpful each time with each person assisting me. I was a lost little lamb and they helped me find products without trying to trick or persuade me into buying the more expensive products. Theyre very accommodating and knowledgable. Only thing, I recommend going right when the open or later at night, because when it gets busy it can get VERY crowded, and personally, I love feeling like I have the store to myself, which you will even on a Saturday at around 10:15-10:45. Favorite store and even if there was a sephora in the area, Id still go to this Ulta because it haS such a nice atmosphere.

Went to the Ulta Salon for the first time today and Carrie was my stylist and she was super friendly and really knew her stuff. I was just going in for a root touch up, and while I was in the shampoo bowl, I decided that I wanted to have some spontaneous red added to the ends of my hair and she was all for it and knew exactly what to do! Once she was finally done blow drying and styling my hair and finally let me see the end result, it was EXACTLY what I had pictured in my head, exactly what I wanted! I have a follow up appt in a couple of weeks and Im really looking forward to it :) I would for sure recommend this place to anyone looking for good service and stylist who know what their doing! :)

I had one bad experience in store but ever since reaching out to the store manager Bridget, I have had nothing but a very welcoming and wonderful experience. Every time I come in now I go straight to Bridget because she is so informative, knowledgeable and very kind. Plus she is great to talk to. I have had to bring my kids in with me occasionally and they are very open and understanding with that as well it is definitely a no judgement zone and all I can say is that I absolutely love Ulta and since the meeting with Bridget and talking to her my experience has been even better. I wish I could take back the minor setback from the beginning..

The staff is always helpful and I can usually find what I want in the shop, however, it would help if they had more variety of high end makeup by others (like Kat Von D or NARS). There is always a huge section of the store devoted to Bare Minerals and if you dont use their products then youll have to find the products you do use in a much smaller section. They now have a Benefit Brow Bar which is great, but it never seems like they are staffed enough for an influx of people who want services. Overall a good experience if you can shop when there arent many people there.

Hi, I have been to Ulta three times to purchase skincare items, and once to see about a haircut. I have a problem with my hair, and when I was discussing this "small problem" with the stylist, she completely stopped making eye contact with me. It was very unnerving. I felt belittled and worthless. News to Ulta stylist, not ever woman has a perfect head of hair, and sometimes, you have to work with folks that have cosmetic problems, please learn to deal with "all" the customers. I assure you my money works as well as anyones.

Every time I go there I never can find anyone to help me find what I am looking for. When I do find some one they really dont know where it is they are always saying they are changing the set up of the store. I see employees there but they never say can I help you. Most of the help are up front as cashiers you wait in line to ask where something is and they say they dont know or they are new or just a cashier. Most of the time when I do find the product section, there is an empty space on the shelf.

Wanted to try out some new foundation however they do NOT do samples here, so I decided to just stick with the foundation I normally use and what do you know theyre out, so the girl (whom I was clearly inconveniencing by even speaking to her in the first place) says yea and we dont do samples sorry... Keeps on putting on her eye makeup and gossiping as I walk out of the store no makeup and out of luck. Needless to say, I will be driving an extra hot to the MAC store next time.
