We were visiting the New Port Richey, FL area while on vacation (as we are from MN) and needed a prescription filled for our children for ear aches. Based on Walgreens reputation we told the doctor to use this particular Walgreens as it was close to the Urgent Care clinic. This was a mistake! They never told us the amoxicillan could be flavored, so when our children threw up the initial dosage we needed to go back to get it flavored as the "stock" flavor smelled like lemon. The doctor recommended a decongestant for our daughter during the plane ride back to MN, however the proper dosage was not stated on the packaging so I called and asked for the pharmacist. After waiting on hold for approximately 10 minutes the technician said the pharmacist was filling 2 prescriptions and would call back. We never received the phone call. After the experiences at this Walgreens I would not recommend this location.

While in store Apr. 24, 2017 6:30 pm, heard some people in a conversation using foul language that was never spoken in my high school even among cursers. I looked around the corner by the bathrooms, to see who it was. Maybe some thugs? It was two male employees in uniform still on the clock. They looked at me questioning my attention. I said I was curious who was cursing. They looked a little embarrassed, the black one just said "oh". Guess their mothers didnt teach them how to apologize when youre offensive. And I also asked the pharmacy staff, tall man if they accept my coupon, as he was putting info in computer. He never answered that question and said it will be a 45 min wait. So Im waiting. Hopefully not in vain.

Pharmacy steals pills and blames you for leaving without counting them. They think because they tell you they double counted, that there employees are not capable of stealing. The customer is not always right apparently. The manager is a complete Jerk. One of the men at checkout (silver hair, 40-50 years old) told me how much he likes hookers. He blatantly cursed at me with language Id here from a sailor and was openly proud to be doing so. I felt like I was in a saloon, not a local pharmacy. Myself and so far 45 others are BOYCOTTING ALL WALGREENS.

I get a hard time at this location every month filling meds I have been taking for over 10 years and ALWAYS fill at Walgreens. If you can get to a different location, I highly suggest you do. Takes them hours beyond the time frame they give you to have your meds ready. Other locations I am in and out within 30 min or less. Pharmacy staff here is generally rude and the manager is worse. Worst Walgreens location in Florida. Doesnt even deserve one star.

Pharmacy tech there thinks that everybody is a junkie trying to get pills. Over night person should be fired. I have loved the service from other walgreens in other states. though this one is Not helpful. Its been bad for months at this location. If this is the level of customer service that is allowed then something should be done with the management at the branch.
