Female manager Janet Baldwin is racist. Wal-Mart just opened up 2 blocks from my house so exciting close enough to walk. My family and I all walk to Wal-Mart and take our backpacks so we dont have to carry the items by hand and never had a problem until today when my I sent my husband to pick up cat food. He rode his bike to Wal-Mart picked up something in the cold section then proceeded to the back of the grab the cat food but noticed he was being followed by Ms. Baldwin through many different isles before being stopped by her and told "backpacks are not allowed in the store because of obvious reasons" however I have worn a backpack there with no problem my son has done it also the only difference is my husband is black and therefore deserves to be followed around and accused of things he wouldnt do. There is no sign stating there are no backpacks allowed. So guess it only stands to reason no backpacks allowed if you are a black man.

Where do I start on sharing the details of this experience? Should I start with the fact that we put in a pickup order at 3pm and sat in the lot until 5 p.m. with not so much as a word on where our order was. Not to mention we had our eight-month-old in stow as well. Finally decided screw this and drove away. Then received a phone call five to ten minutes later saying that our order is ready to turn around and come pick it up. This is a service you provide, not a demand. Also find it pretty sad that whenever we called the customer service number they also mentioned that they have had multiple problems with this location doing their job/not having complete orders. Something to keep in mind if you ever shop here. Piss poor service, Saxon Walmart, glad we will be moving to DeBary soon so we dont have to use you anymore. To any decent employees in that outfit, get out while you can. Dont go down with that sinking ship.

Lack of selection on fruits and vegetables in the organic section. I am not used to the store layout, so I found myself spending longer time that I had planned at this store. They do have good sales on dairy and meat that are close to or have reached "sell by date" so if youre a daredevil, these deals may work for you. Now, they do have a great staff at the hot foods section, and they will put together any type of pizza (realistic to Walmart) that your heart desires, and will even bake it for you while you shop. The cash registers are typically well staffed and the cashiers always happy to help. THERE IS NO WIFI NOR DO YOU GET CELLPHONE SIGNAL in most of the store. I would go here for a quick trip or the fresh cooked pizza.

Feels like bait and switch. The store came to the community as a 24 hour store, which was great since I get off at 11 PM, now theyre only open until 11 PM. At least be open until midnight. Theres always pallets of stock blocking the aisles. I loved going there to refill water jugs and now the machine is down for 2 weeks. Feels like Wal-Mart. They come on strong, but then as things break the store fizzles out. The employees are nice though and prices are ok. I would rather go someplace that has their business together and not one trying to make things work. Publix and Aldis are now the stores for me.

I absolutely love this Walmart Neighborhood Market employees of friendly extremely helpful and there is very rarely a line and if there is a move it right along since its been built Ive had nothing but the best of luck when going to this Walmart I cant picture life before this Walmart was built the Walmart in Orange City is horrendous and the other one in Deltona is almost as bad but this Walmart on Saxon in Deltona is a dream come true at least it is for me thank you Walmart but nothing but good times and outstanding service a loyal customer forever Paul S Deltona Florida

I like coming here it gets very busy sometimes. Self checkout line can be crazy, not organized around it, people would cut in front of you if you dont know if the check out register is working or not. It could be a guessing game. Other Walmarts I been to have self checkout registers organizing and not a free for all employees can get busy and distracted so be patient.

This is why I was buying groceries at Walmart, but BETTER! Smaller store with friendly and helpful employees, makes shopping more enjoyable. Even when they are restocking, you can still get to things, not like the big store. There is plenty of variety without being overcrowded. The best part is, even with all of the advantages, you still get the low prices!

Its convenient and not over crowded like the Super Walmart in Orange City. I shop at both but I love this location. I buy from the deli on most visits. Those ladies are very helpful and courteous. I have been visiting this location since it opened and every employee Ive encountered has been extremely helpful.

So much easier to shop here than the regular Walmart. I love the layout of the store and how courteous and helpful all of the employees are. Their pizzas are delicious. Although they do not have everything that a regular Walmrt Super Center has, they still have a wide selection of products.

I was impressed. I was standing in the middle of several aisles wondering where to find what I needed and a man asked if I needed help. He tried to help me then saw someone else who could further help and pointed me to right where I needed to be. It was a pleasant grocery store visit!

So much cleaner, quieter and less populated with dirty and/or crazy people than your standard walmart is by default. Prices for food seem to be the same though the product choices arent as plentiful. The employees were actually helpful and pleasant and it caught me off guard.

Check out service is total garbage. Good luck trying self checkout. Every other item will tell you there is an unexpected item in bagging area. Then when you ask for help they yell at you for doing it wrong. I would rather starve than shop there again.

So glad they put a walmart neighborhood market on Saxon in deltona, it is literally 2 10th of a mile from my house which makes it really convenient! And I love that I can get my prescriptions filled there as well! Employees seem very friendly and helpful!

I always go there when I need something at last min and they have plenty of there. No issues so far. However, I am very disappointed that they no longer over 24 hours service. Which mean I have to drive all the way to Walmart to get something simple

I dont even bother going to the main Walmart anymore. I go to this one. Its quieter, friendlier, has everything you need. Its clean and as far as diversity of employees - its there. Parking is plentiful, lighting is good, location is convenient.

What is the deal with the self checkout lanes not taking cash .they have had self checkout in orange city for 5+ years and they always work!!! So how could their be a problem with the software Wal-Mart has been useing for years !!
